ebay question - need to withdraw bid

I bid on what I thought was some computer memory on ebay but I had accidentally closed the browser and bid on some memory that was very similar but that will not work with my computer - there is only 11 hours left on the auction and I wondered what my best option is


I contacted the seller to ask if they will cancel my bids about 1 hour ago
I thought if thats not successful - what happens if I just dont pay ?
