Eating People

What if eating people (cannibalism) was socially accepted?

Lets say the world goes through a period of mass starvation or so and people have to result to cannibalism. Eventually, society will learn to embrace it...

So...

Imagine all the amazing additions to life:

People will live with the fact that they will be eaten when they die.
Some people will live eating a very specific diet in order to eventually be a gorment meal at their death (for a lot of money ofcourse, it could even become a profession).
People would be paid to smoke because people like smoked meat.
Dead babies would be considered a delicacy.
People would murder each other for a real reason... food... and not some ideologic conflict.

Any other great things you can think of?

Ahh... a man can only dream.

 

and they'd all get some brain eating disease and die off entirely.

I volunteer my dead body for this new way of life. However, I want half of me to be mulched for veggie growing and the other half can be eaten for meat. That way you guys could have a more well rounded meal....and if there was some part of me that could be used in a weed brownies recipie somehow, then I'd like that too, for dessert.

 

We could use the 700lb people who are "one" with the couch and use them as pork.
Body builders would be lean beef, and IT's would be chicken.



It would also solve the homeless problem...hobo-on-a-stick anyone?

... I guess we could use human skin for purses, and imagine, the dentist could actually insert real human teeth and not some fake teeth in ya gums.

Anyone seen the movie Ravenous? lots of eating people, it's very enjoyable.

 

No, but it is now added to my netflix queue (even though the queue has a good 200 movies in it... I will move it up to the top ten, can't miss out on people eating)

 

I'm so glad. It's very graphic with it's people eating with lovley chipper music on in the background. I like it. Another people eating flick, which is somewhat less entertaining and more desterbing is Cannibal Holocaust, it's people eatin' in the 80's. Little hard to watch that one perhaps...but good.

I watched a documentary about that a long time ago...apparently they labelled the "meat" so no one would eat their own family...creepy.

although i'd prolly make a poor meal, i am very unhealthy
