Man it's been a crazy few weeks. All started from my inability to cash a hand-written check. Feeling bitter as I walked a few miles only to hear that I separated from my brother as my thoughts distracted me and I had no intentions of walking back home as such a thing was admitting defeat.

So I walk past Target and find a kid squatting at Target. Too young to be a bum so I asked for a cigarette and started asking questions. Offered them hot food and a shower if they walked back to the crib. The next day I decided to show them around town in attempt to make money but my silly stoned out ass got lost. So naturally I start asking for directions to the closest Pub. Walking to 7-11 we pass a group of guys who stood up and said ello. We waved and continued walking. At 7-11 those very same guys walked by again and again we waved. One of them being awake for 2 days and on LSD decided to stop and join our group as a cop was right around the corner. So I ask him for directions and instead we get a ride to a pub with open-mic and we get drunk and party.

The cousins whom hitched from Mass with Florida as their destination asked about my opinion and of-course I loved the idea. Being someone who was exposed to such a life at an early age I couldn't help but fall in love with them. So I decided to tag along.

I pack what few things I have and we went downtown the next day. It was then we met up with Water, a fellow Rainbow child whose traveled all over. His guitar out strumming music and his bare feet stretched out against the pavement. We joined in and started playing music. Water then replies that we're the first people who stopped without fear, assuming that a dreaded hippie was dangerous to talk too. Fuck that. I find people like that more interesting then those who walk by ignoring others.

So now he joins our party and we make music and dance in the streets. Then we invite them back to the crib where we conversed and shared thoughts. It was then the cousins decided to stay in town for another month, making cash and then drive straight to Florida with the help of the Rasta. I then had to make a decision. Stay behind another month, ignoring the wanderlust flooding my skull or make it with Water to Mexico. Long have I heard of Rainbow and how I would naturally fit in. That a family existed beyond the borders of this existence within my home. From bus rides across country to befriending random strangers. Whispers of rainbow has always crept within my skull.

Asheville NC is to be the next destination but with the Hurrican Sandy, the party decided to stay till the storm passed. Which was good as it allowed me to repair what damage the storm did to the house as my old man be too fragile and delicate to climb roof-tops. We already lost one member as a fight broke out and he decided to sleep under bridges rather then accept the hospitality of the Rasta and stay indoors during the storm. Leaving only Water and me with intent of headed West.

So I'm posting here to find others. Caravans they call it and others whom are headed to Rainbow Int from the East coast who wish to meet up. I already discovered my old childhood friend is squatting in New Orleans with intent of going to Mexico. And Water has friends whom we are also meeting up with. I've been to Florida twice and last time I witnessed the near death of my friend thus Florida is no place I wish to revisit. That and I'm really big into the whole cosmic changes and planetary alignments and what better place to experience the end then the Temple of Mayans?

I do however just snagged into a problem. I lack the methods of obtaining a passport as by law I am unable too unless I pay the hefty fine from my criminal past. Such is the life branded an outlaw by society. So I'm also asking around if others whom are headed to Mexico from the states lack passports and how they are dealing with that problem.

decided that working on my friends farm with the help of his old Honduras family could net me the money in a week to get things settled. No need to pay attention to this till I figure out how to delete my post. :p

.....you're having a hard time sneaking OUT of the US?

Just go tell them you're from mexico....

I mean, since you seem to think this is the end of everything, and obviously can't travel home after the end of the world.

Like most everyone else who adheres to mayan prophecy, you have no understanding of mayan prophecy.

Either pay your tickets or sneak out, pretty obvious.... and if you don't have the money to pay a ticket, you don't have the money to worry about how you cross the border, until you're sitting at the border.

Brother I too cannot risk trying to cross the typical legal way. Yet I would do anything to make it to Palenque. Let me know if you figure out some way to sneak across :)

Is that where the rainbow meetup is?

....Hope all the normal rainbor crap I've heard about doesn't fuck anything up.

Seriously, say "que" when they ask you if you're an american citizen, and you're in mexico.... "no habla englase" or whatevers.
