While both are amazing, I'd have to go with the early stuff!

Being a massive Doors fan id have to say the early stuff, strange days was one of the best albums ever made. But dont get me wrong I adore the bluesy stuff aswell :)

I'm a big fan for the s/t and Strange Days, so I'd have to go with old stuff.

Deffinatly early stuff. Waiting for the sun is kind of mid doors and i like that too. But the soft parade was their worst album by far, with L.A. woman not much better.

I like the doors, but Ive heard all their stuff so many times, I have to limit my listening to a couple times a year now..

I think I like Jim's poetry more than I like the actual songs. My favorite Doors stuff would have to be live, when Jim is messed up and going crazy.

Exactly the same here. Heard their studio albums just too much. I especially enjoy the lengthy live tracks nowadays. And every now and then the bluesy studiotracks as well haha :)

Touch me and Not to Touch the Eart arn't early. Early would be anything up to Strange Days.

Not to touch the earth came out in 1968, and Touch me came out in 1969.... When I think 'later' doors I think of Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman which came out in 1970 and 1971

I duno maybe I'm missing the point I guess I like all of their shit then evenly

eh, i just dont like the "soft parade" album.

but as i said, i would consider up to strange days their early psychedelic stuff
waiting > Morrison Hotel would be mid
LA would be later bluesy stuff.
