i LOVED that movie! the people who made that movie are going to be sooooo rich. "i see your drinking skim milk, is it because you think your fat? because your not, you could be drinking 2% if you wanted to." i have to buy that movie!
well MTv is, but the guys who made it probobly weren't...when it comes out, the money'll start flowin
That's the funniest movie I've ever seen. I was going to ask for it for Christmas, but I'm going to buy it the day it comes out. I have to.
yessssssssssssss. it gets better everytime i watch it. napoleon dynamite fan right hee-yuh!!! "ughhh....IDIOT!"
I havn't seen it because the person who recomended it was like 15 so I assumed it was a kid's movie. I see know I was sadly mistaken and I humbly vow to watch it the first chance I get. Side note: burbot, I dig your I love God sign.
i got it for christmas and watched it yesterday, i thought it was pretty funny. I never wanted to see it in the theater because every man woman and child i knew said qoutes from the movie, and it just got annoying. Now that i have seen it, i shouldnt of held it off, its great! idiot!
it came out on DVD and i got it for Christmas and it is the worst comedy I've ever seen It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking boring I literally died... twice
I think you just gotta have a 'different' sense of humor to like it. I saw it twice, and I was DYING. Just looking at the dude who plays Napolean is enough to make me start laughing. I tried to buy it at Blockbuster (I got a gift card there for Christmas) and it was sold out. Is that movie supposed to take place in the present? Its been driving me crazy. The main characters look sooo early 80s and the way they dress, especially at the dance. Their house also looks like a throwback. The style of the movie reminds me of 'Welcome to the Dollhouse.' You can't exactly tell when it takes place. (or maybe its just me who can't tell). I loved the part in the beginning when he gets on the bus, and the little kid goes, "What are you going to do today, Napolean?" And he says, "Whatver I wanna do......GOD!!"
the main characters are definitaly stuck in the 80's...trisha sems a bit stuck as well, but if you look at the other kids [one wearing a striped polo shirt] it seems to take place now...
Exactly. Everything else seems to take place now. Another thing I was wondering is, how old are these kids? They're in high school, right, but they have a playground and ride the bus with elementary school kids. I don't know. Maybe thats how it is where they live. Or maybe its just something they threw in the movie to make it even more strange and funny.
I barely remember having heard about that thing when it was in theatres...and I only really recalled it lasted like 2 weeks in theatres; and that either means the movie is -awful- or utterly amazing. In this one's case, it was the latter....I don't buy a whole lot of DVD's, but I may well pick this one up...
