as anyone can guess, i am a big dxm fan. i have recently been interested in pure dxm powder. however, searching for it on google has given me nothing but bullshit results, erowid experiences mentioning the powder, and wonderfully helpful pages which read "McFarren called Ness County deputies in February to report that dxm powder his girlfriend, Pam Babcock, had refused to come out of the bathroom" (uh, yeeeah) does anyone know of any legit websites that sell dxm powder? considering dxm is a legal substance, this shouldnt be against the rules. if it is, however, i will understand if a mod closes this. edit: found yet another gem. Yes dxm powder is bought online, however, most vendors who sell dxm also sell RCs or the other, so I doubt anyone will just hand over a source.
I went looking for DXM powder some time ago. If I recall, I had issues finding a source and the onesI found were a bit sketchy or catered to pham manufacturers and want to sell in larger amounts. Good luck on finding a source and if you do can you PM me the info?
i gave up on that shit. ill stick with robo gels and delsym. if im not lazy, perhaps ill try making my own powder one of these days.
that will be time release polistirex though... t's probably easier to just down a bunch of robo gelcaps, though pure DXM powder, even time release, does sound pretty appealing.
hmmm i hadn't heard about that but it definitely sounds promising, lemon moreso than cola... people were talking about using something really acid (lemon) to "pre digest" the polistirex..... interesting. i don't intend to do DXM for a while but if someone wants to give this lemon thing a shot, definitely post back.
Yeah, I believe I may give it a shot.. I planned to quit that shit, period, but I'm looking to hopefully get something out of it, not quite sure what but we'll see I suppose. I just know if I do it again, I wont be drinking that shitty syrup shit, how can I enjoy the onset of a trip when all I can think about is that nasty feeling that the syrup gave me? haha My question is, should I let it sit for about an hour in the pure lemon juice or should i swallow the powder and chug the lemon right behind it? I'm sure that if you let the powder sit to long in the lemon juice then it may start to 'eat up' the DXM so to say.
hmm well from what i read, lemon juice works because it breaks down the polistirex, similar to what your stomach acid would do. so i'd reccomend leaving it to sit for an hour in like a shot glass of lemon juice, and then taking that down. definitely gonna be gross but i can't imagine it's worse than drinking down syrup. edit: here's what i'm referencing, btw: http://forum.grasscity.com/pandoras-box/310128-dxm-polistirex-separation.html i wish they had posted back though lol.
I found it I believe. Put the powder in a glass, pour the lemon juice in it and wait at least 4 hours. By then, the polistirex should be predigested and it should be good to go!:cheers2: How full the glass is supposed to be with lemon juice though is something I don't know, just a little bit over the powder i'd say. I may give it a try, if I do, i'll get back to you guys about it.
The bad taste of DXM is.. the DXM itself. If you want to minimize taste, try the gelcaps or the cough spray if you can get it. Cough spray tastes naaaaaaasty, but it's ~400mg down in one gulp.
