Hey When I put in a DVD into my dvd drive I get this media player error...

Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

anyone know how to fix it?

I downloaded the free trial of the Nvidia codec but it didnt help....anyone know how to fix it?!

    THanks eveyrone

i don't think a codec is what you want,

is it the latest version of media player?

you could try VLC player on for size, i like it.

I just thought I would add that VLC player is one of the only video players that will also let you play almost any type of video file while you are actually downloading it. It will also play about any type of video because it has it's own built in support to handle various codecs. I rarely run into a file that I can't play with VLC. Unfortunately VLC might not be around much longer due to a few legal problems they are having so you might want to get it while you can.
