they search for what they are trained to search for. sniffer dogs can be trained to search for any number of drugs, to search for people, to search for explosives, all sorts of stuff. and if they aren't trained to search for a specific thing, but are able to track and sniff things out, then if the cop has access to something to give the dog a smell of, they can find it. basically you never know what a dog is trained to look for, and some dogs work better than others. people fool the dogs more often than anyone likes to think about, but thats not to say its easy or common.
thats wut i thought, cuz surely since theres different sniffer dogs for different issues, than that must mean that cant be trained with many substances, and shrooms are not a very big problem... im wondering like, just a completely random example, if the drug dogs that go thro storage unit could sense boomers
