The US is at war with Iran. However there have been only a few human casualties so far. That is because the war is a cyberwar, taking place in virtual space and outer space. Last week Iran captured a state-of-the-art US spy drone intact. They are now in the process of downloading its data and reverse engineering its secrets, including its invisibility to radar. So how did Iran accomplish this feat of technical prowess? Evidently it managed to take over control of a US defense satellite that controlled the drone. The US has admitted losing the drone, and said it "malfunctioned". And now today there is a report of another US drone that crashed in the Seychelles Islands. Could this be Iran's hand again? Read this article I posted a couple of months ago about a virus infecting the US drone program. The capture of the US drone has emboldened Iran, knowing the US cannot risk losing more drones by launching them to spy on Iran. So Big Brother's eye in the sky is blind at the moment. And so Iran is now preparing to block the Strait of Hormuz, the main transit point for 40% of the world's oil. It is giving the US and its allies the finger. This comes after the US and Israel engineered the Stuxnet virus that disabled Iran's nuclear centrifuges for months. And Israeli spies have assassinated a number of Iranian nuclear scientists, and may have had a hand in the recent explosion at their missile base outside of Tehran that killed its leading missile experts.
It's rumored that this drone was supposed to be start of an attack on Iranian nuke facilities. The fact that it was downed ended the plan. I'm not sure about that, but it is possible. And today Iran claims all its nuke facilities are now underground, safe from US or Israeli attack. BTW, Iran recently launched a satellite, I wonder if that was instrumental in their ability to take control of the drone, in addition to their having stolen the passwords to the US drone system.
The United States only hope, as far as I'm concerned, is to turn inward and become isolationists. The current politicians in power seem to lack both morality AND common sense (a very dangerous combination) and they refuse to listen to their constituents, who amazingly enough have both morality and common sense, so unless we vote out all career politicians (won't happen) and put some normal every day patriots in power, our current representatives and presidential adminstration are going to keep marching to the beat of war. Bye bye country I was taught (propoganda-style) to love. This drone business might turn out to be the equivalent of the assasination of Archduke Ferninand. Goodbye country I once loved, Hello WWIII.
I've been watching it fall apart twice as long as you have..... Not that it means anything other than it's not new and it sucks...... I was talking with my Father last week, he's in his 80's, was in the tail end of WW2, part of the group that occupied Japan.... With a very sad expression on his face and in his voice he said "This is not the country I believed in all my life" He's a republican..... or at least was until recently. Now he doesn't know any more.
I bet this is planned. The united-statesian's militarie want to make another race of arms. They find way to give ennemi their technologie so they can ask for more cash to research and dispense more cash. All is lies. I do not know what is true but all is lie. Better to not participate.
lol i think i saw obama on the news "asked iranian officials for the drone back" lmao, i think i agree with r paul, he talked about limiting foreign affairs and establishing goals for citizens of this country!! i am sick of hearing of how the world is going to end yea occupy this that,, occupy your minds and do something about it make the world a better place dont lose your heads to Hate that will bring us all down..., were out of Iraq, lets stay out of that area for awhile, world cant afford war atm...
I want my own drone. Seriously, if I see a drone spying around my house i'll mistake it for a goose and shoot it down.
I want drone seeking missiles for my back deck........ a set mounted on top of my car would be good too. :2thumbsup:
That would be to much fun! lol I'm seriously thinking of getting an RC plane and some roman candles and see what I can create. Whoever hits the market with drones at an affordable price will be my hero!
Been doing some searching for the scuddlebut on the web. Drone neatly flown over Iran and neatly landed. Something about U.S. Colonels and Generals receiving a little over $3mil. It so, then, It seems just criminal that they sold trillions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer's investments for such a small price. Has anyone head anything? Inside money job?
This was due to a security breach a couple of months before at the US drone headquarters. They got hit with a bad virus and I don't think they ever got rid of it. And of course they didn't bother to change everyone's passwords, so the key logger got them all and the Iranians were able to just take over control of the satellite controlling the drone. NOTE: It was no great feat, once they had stolen the password to take over the drone. What was a great feat was the programming of the virus and inserting it into the drone program computers. Sort of like the stuxnet virus which hit Iran. They must've figured it out and modified it, or developed their own. My guess is the Russians helped them.
"Sorry officer. I thought your drone was a goose", I can see cops getting drones to scan state parks and fly over neighborhoods looking for weed patch's. It will be a lot cheaper then manned flights. We will need some kind of radar or laser to disrupt the signals and make it crash.
yea, its kindof sketchy how all this happened during the current crisis in the middle east. the drone was supposedly scanning the Iraq border, when it suddenly drifted and 'crashed' into Iran (intact)...
