    anyone against it?

I find that it makes me more cautious(or paranoid) for the most part, But I can get distracted easier.

i think its a bad idea.

whem im stoned, everytime i accelerate, it feels like im riding a rollercoaster... so i tend to accelerate even more. and yeah.. i tend to get more distracted to other things more easily as well.... so yeah... i dont think its a good idea to drive while stoned..

    agreed

but there isn't anything quite as terrifying (at least it seems that when while baked:D) as seeing a cop in the review when these herb in the vehicle.

I'm not against it, but I really am a bad driver stoned. As long as the driver feels comfortable driving stoned, then I don't mind. I personally just can't do it. I get too distracted, too paranoid, etc.

I drive high all the time, it's perfectly safe. You're reaction time might be slowed down depending on how high you are because you'll get distracted and shit but it's not like you lose your depth perception or anything like that.

I don't really like doing it but I will if I'm driving just between friends houses or to get some eats. I have had one bad experience where I turned into the wrong lane because there were people crossing but there were no cars so it was all good. That happened because I was trying to mow down this delicious pita at the same time.

it really depends. its not like drunk driving. It depends if the driver is competant, at both driving and being stoned. Whereas alcohol is different. Also depends if theres ppl in the car.

I don't drive but if I did and tried it high, I'd be nervous as shit. I probably wouldn't do it, but I don't think it makes people worse/more dangerous at all.

i can drive when a little buzzed, but being really high driving is a little dangerous. sure you may be more cautious, but its easy to get distracted by something not on the road.

hell, i was in a 6hp boat once with a friend and we were going towards some rocks 100feet away (thats where we turn to go through the passage to another bay on the lake) and we got distracted talking. next thing i look fowards, realize were close to the rocks and swerve hard (not that a fiberglass boat can really swerve though). after swerving we realised we were still like 30 feet away and wouldve had like 10 more seconds till impact at our low speed.

it can screw with your perceptions a bit is my point i guess.

only experienced stones should try driving while high. i've never done it but i've been driven by people who are high, and they seemed fine.

i drive high about everyday. it's bad though, everytime you see a cop your heart just sinks especially when you have bud and all kinds of wraps, ciggs and god knows what else in the car.

I used to drive a lot high, but now find it harder....maybe because I don't drive as much in general. Years ago (summer 1991 to be exact) I was traveling across country in a van as old as me following the dead. It had a little ledge behind the steering wheel. We would take bong hits from a pretty big bong while driving by putting it on that ledge...and this was extremely good nuggets....we just called it incredible weed back then. This I would not recommend for your average stoner.

I think it all depends on how much you smoke and how much you drive....and like StonerBill said, how well you do both. In the old days I drove everywhere....I was almost always the driver when me and friends would go out...and we'd often be driving around looking for places to get high. So, with enough practice I think it's probably fine.

If you don't smoke every day, and aren't 100% comfortable driving and avoiding problems while driving, I'd say it's pretty dangerous.

You know how it is when you are a good driver...it's like driving is a graceful dance...even when someone cuts you off or some other mistake, you can roll with it with grace. Following the rules, but knowing how to work with them and break them if necessary. I think a sign of a bad driver is one who gets all flustered when someone else makes a mistake or starts yelling at them....you just have to expect that people are bad drivers and know how to respond. A sign of a really bad driver is one who makes mistakes and then still yells at the other people instead of realizing they made a mistake.

Being really tired or really pissed off can definitely be as bad as driving stoned if you know what you are doing.

Everyone is a police officer and every place that sells stuff with calories calls to you.

    I hate doing it.
