Driving stoned?

Does anyone here drive stoned or have they? On youtube if you search "driving stoned" there is a british TV show testing peoples driving while stoned.
Does it affect your abillity to drive well or do you drive better?

i love the video game feeling. i just have to remind myself that im in control of a machine that weighs 2,000 pounds; otherwise i would just crash it like a video game.

 

i was drivin a 3 and a half ton waggon on the motorway at night and it was like i was in a fuckin hellicopter.It was a friday night so all the quallity dance tunes was on the radio which just added to it all. fuckin quality.

 

I don't drive at all, but my husband drives stoned all the time, doesn't seem to change anything... but he's a really good driver who HAS to do over 100K all the time, or he just isn't happy.

 

i can drive stoned if i'm by myself most of the times..
but if i'm riding with other people i get to laughing and talking and i start swerving off the road cause i forget that i'm driving

 

In the past I've done a lot of dumb shit -- but when you're in highschool and don't have a place to hangout, you don't have much a choice but to smoke in your car, or while driving -- neither of which I condone, but I'd be lying if I said I never did it when I was younger.

I don't have any reason or need to do that kind of shit nowadays. My record is finally clean, and I have no desire to start a new one. As far as driving stoned goes.. I do it. I know I shouldn't, and I do try to cut down on it, but I've done it for sure.

 

i hate smoking in a car.. especially if you're the driver and you're smoking a bowl.

 

driving fast is the best buzz you can get. when my mums fella was trying to get on the good side of me he let me drive his BMW 5 series. lets just say he shit himself. but i drove a focus ST 250 miles to Grimsby in no time. when i hit speeds of 145 mph i got a bit worried. but the urge is always there for me to keep pushing it. But i am a very experienced driver and never put other people or myself at risk. I do know when im in control.

 

In highschool I had a friend drive stoned and he killed someone. He is still in prison.

I used to streetrace and generally just drive stupid. High driving completely chilled out my driving style, even when not high.

 

I dont get scared by it coz i got taught by my grandad as soon as my feet could reach the clutch prpoerly. i think i was maybe 10.
My girlfriend says i get crazy though behind the weel. im always screaming at people out the window of my truck.
I have a personal vendetta against bus drivers. im just gonna drive into the bastard the next time one cuts me up!

 

My honest opinion (and yes I smoke n drive)

When you drive while stoned, yes you may be impaired but at the same time you become more awair of your surrondings. I am looking for police more, trying to go the speed limit and using turn signals and such. Though when I am not stoned and driving I may drive faster because im not riding dirty, look for less cops and increase my chance of getting introuble. And I think its really easy to drive stoned, its not like drinking and driving.

i am always a cautious driver, i barely ever go over the speed limit haha
i'm a scaredy cat!

and yeah, i hate bus drivers too.. the ones in my town drive on the wrong side of the road and cut you off and shit.

when it comes to driving in between the lines and goin the speed limit im fine. the only part that i can say is harder is wen there is traffic and u have to make quick decisions

 

bus drivers are the Nazi's that escaped in 1945 and bred what they think is a supreme race of drivers!
i really dislike them that much. almost as much as much as the police.
