driving on e?

In a couple of weeks this band called Perpetual Groove is coming to my city, and I'm planning on rolling the first time while I'm there The doors open at seven, I expect they'll start playing around 8-8:30, and the show to go til at least midnight. I'm planning on taking it around 7:30 so by the time the show starts I'm nice and high. It should go til about midnight or one-ish.

The thing is, I have to drive home. I know it'll be dark and a lot of cops will be out looking for drunk (or more likely, tripping) drivers after the show.

Have any of you ever driven on E? I donno, I can drive while I'm high pretty okay, albeit I go extremely slow. Think I'll be okay?

 

Hard to tell, depends on how high you still are. I have driven during the peak and it wasn't the easiest experience but was easier than driving drunk.

It was fun though I blared some music through my system and turned the heat up and I rolled pretty hard.

I was driving kind of jerky though and making sudden stop and turns.

 

First off, let me say that I would never recomend driving any drug.

Now, that be said, I have done many of stupid things in my life (it is a wonder I am still alive). Used to drive home from raves years ago (some of them about 45 minute drives) Candy Flipping on a total of up to 20 pills of E and a total of 15 hits of cid. One time I was also doing bumps of K on the way home (no idea how I got home that time).

Now that being said, everyone is different and I am sure one day you will be as stupid as me and drive on it. However don't do it your first time. If you do, try not to have any leftovers when you get in the car. A DUI is bad enough, but getting busted with a scedule 1 drug would realy suck especially since you are now considered an adult.

 

driving on E is awesome, dangerous as fuck but awesome. autobot 20 pills and 15 hits of acid i dunno just me but that seems like a fairly large amount to ingest for a single evening. you took all of these together?

 

I've driven on the comeup for about 10mins and it was damn fun haha...

A friend apperantly drove while peaking on 3 pills to go and get more. He said it was hard but not as hard as being drunk. He also said it kind of depressed his high a bit until he stopped driving.

I've had a similair experience while playing a racing video game. I was rolling HARD, when about 10 mins into play it felt like I smacked into a wall - in other words, my peak dropped in an instant, my vision cleared up and I felt nearly sober. It was so shocking I gasped, dropped the controller and jumped up...it took a shit load of bong snaps to get my high back...

Man that was weird...I suppose there's something wrong with concentrating too hard on when you're rolling? I've also popped a pill while playing another video game and I was gettin pissed that I wasn't feeling it. A friend said it's cos I was playing the game. The very second I stood up I was hit hard.

 

Depends on the pill too. Some made me alert as all hell, seeing everything around me at night, but others have made me trip out like a mofo. Generally, you should be fine on a few pills but any more than 2 or 3 I'd look at other alternatives. And watch your booze! It affects me less on e than it does normally, but you're still drunk and over the limit.

 

Personally, I drive better on e. It makes me more confident in the road rather than being afraid .. but pay attention coz with over-confidence u can make mistakes too.
The majority of people who wreck their car is because they're drunk not because they're on e. don't let them fool you.

 

I just drove to a dance the other week while coming up it was actually pretty fun. I've never driven while peaking but I'd imagine I could do it fine, although it might lower the high due to the concentration. Still If you don't take a huge amount and take it early enough you should be fine to drive, but then again if it is your first time it might not be the best idea, maybe have a friend somehow be ready to drive just in case?

 

7:30-1:00 should be enough time to be sober *enough*, but if i were you i'd try to stall going home for as long as it takes you to feel totally comfortable if it's a long drive. plus... if it's your first time, and it's at a concert, dude, you're probably not gonna wanna just drive home right away. you'll probably want to go on some epic adventure with your newfound soul mates. and that is what you should do.

Well I think if you take the pill around 7:30 it'll kick in around 8:15 and you leave around 1:00 (4 hours and 45 minutes) you'll still be rolling pretty hard. Good pills will have you rolling balls even after 7 or 8 hours in.

Me personally I cannot drive while on E. I always "over do" it persay. My eyes start rolling back in my head, I can't focus, and I just....................... I can't drive a car lol. But everyone's different.

If it's your first time I wouldn't recommend it, but if your going to do it, I'd take the pills like 15-30 minutes before you get to the show (around 7ish) by the time you get there you'll have a good 15-30 minutes to wait for the comeup then already be rolling face by the time the band comes on

And since you haven't done E before you don't know how it's going to affect you. You could take one, roll for 9 hours, not be able to drive and be fucked! Or you could take one, roll for 5, be good to drive, and have a totally bitchin time!

Just be careful, cautious and use GOOD JUDGEMENT.....

The first time i ever took E it took ages to hit me so i went to pick a mate up from school and i got half way there and it hit me, its easy to drive on E cos i find that it doesnt so much impair you, but just watch the speedo i found that i drove way too slow cos it felt like a million miles and hour but i looked at the dash and found that i was 30kms under the speed limit. and if your pulled over your eyes dont look as fucked as with pot so you dont really need to worry it will probly be fine...

I don't do it often, but when I've had to drive, it hasn't really been an issue, than again i consider myself a good driver, and I drive better high than sober (high on weed i mean). Anyways, Ijust try not to get distracted, all the lights tend to catch your attention, but as long as you stay focused it isn't too diff. Of course, not something I reccommend.

 

yeah, i drove on E a couple times. lol i think i'm a better driver when i'm on it. perfect even. lol

 

I dont know how to drive, but I've been in cars while people driving on E, while rolling incredibly much and nothing has ever happened. I think E is a pretty controllable high, but I guess it depends on the person.

my friends say the same thing. I'm not sure if it's true. I get distracted looking out the window and daydreaming. I'm the worst copilot in the world. I mean you have fun with me , but I help you in no way whatsoever, on the contrary I can be quite annoying if Im rolling, not always though and it depends on the person who's driving. I do have a tendency to touch people's hair and hug them while they are driving and tell them to stop to look at the pretty moon

 

Yea...I don't reccomend it at all bro. Like the poster above, I sware its amazing that I am still alive all the stupid shit I have done. But not everyone has as good o luck as I. So I don't reccomend it at all. But its safer than driving drunk Id say. For sure. As far as cops, you better just pray you don't get caught. Flashlight to the pupils and he'll know you're on something

 

I could drive on E if I had no other choice, Im sure if it was a serious situation I could focus properly and force myself to drive fine. But I dont know what kind of E's you guys are taking, but a friend and I ate 2 pills once in Atlantic City while driving on Ocean Blvd. down by Lucy (haha) and soon as the pills hit my friend, kid straight dipped right out and the car went into the opposing traffic lanes. I grabbed the wheel and smacked him out of it but driving back to a hotel was a very difficult task for him. And just from taking E in the past and remembering how it makes me feel, I dont think I could drive very well on it (unless like I said I had no choice but forcing myself to drive). I guess it's all relative and depends on how much you take, what point in the high you are at, and where your driving. If anyone has ever driven on Ocean Blvd. at 10pm on a Friday night over there, you would know that road is not the easiest to travel on, even when your sober!

 

Awesome band! The show should be great. I'm glad I came across this thread because I don't have them on my laptop that has been my sole source of music for the last three months. I've been trying to remember all the good music I have on my desktop and this was one of the ones I was trying so hard to remember but couldn't!
