drinking birds

Whatever those things are called. They are made of glass and have a red colored liquid in them that makes them bob back and forth and 'drink' from a glass of water.

Seems like they were the most popular back in the 60s and 70s.

I remember seeing a Tweety Bird cartoon where he was side-by-side with a drinking bird and drinking with him. Guess drinking birds go back a ways, maybe the 1950s.

You are correct, the drinking bird does go back a ways....to 1945.

 

I had one back in the sixties....;-)

 

I used to see them on the package racks above the back seats in cars in the 50s.

 

So this isn't a thread about cunnilingus...
