I have noticed my left side of my head has dreads different from my right. I know that you have more hair on one side, but does anyone notice a marked difference between your dreads on one side of your head?
My left side has a ton of zig-zag dreads. I hope you know what I mean. I can't really explain other than they look like zig-zags! The right side has straighter dreads. Maybe I sleep on my left side more..who knows.

Ah, dont worry about it... Everything is going to be fine, just palm role them more often... So which side to do sleep on more? I noticed that in this one place where i usually sleep, i had perfectly strait hair...

I have a bunch of congos on my right side and none on my left. I must sleep on my right side the majority of the time!

yup, I noticed that with DD's hair, too. But since her hair naturally parts itself on the left side, you don't notice the difference so much. Palm rolling has really made a huge difference, just all of a sudden, here recently. Plus, I figured out how to do it properly, I was doing it wrong all along! You can't just go back and forth, you need to roll your palms in little circles as well. And now that her hair is actually dreading up (four months after we stared them) it's really obvious the parts that aren't dreaded because that loose hair is twice as long as the rest!

Why dont you just fold the hair, to half its length and palm roll it in another dread?

i have the zig-zags too!! but mine have tons of loops from shrinking and stuff. palm rolling does help, but the loops or zig zags will still be there, it takes a while for them to go away.. but idk my right side is better then my left, but for the most part mine are all the same around., they are all just crazy haha peace~
