so I've been wanting to get dreads for a while now, and I can't seem to find anywhere close that I can get them done professionally.
I need to find a salon that does dread perms/backcombing around Chicago, IL... Wisconsin would even work out.
    Help?

I washed my hair when I was dreading them twice a week.
    I don't know why, I thought I should.
I don't wash it that much anymore.
    I just stopped brushing

I did a lot of twists and pulls and palm rolling

igniore knottyboy ignore freadhq they both promote wax wich will destroy your dreads read knotty know how here on hipforums its the best and only worthwhile sourse of info on dreads
if u follow the info on the other sites u will get mouldy dreads that will need to come out be cut off or require days of scrubbing with very hot water over and over and over and will then fall out and should probly just be restarted from scratch
those sites promote dammaging techniques just to sell useless and harmful productys

go into i think its in crafts or body mods, knotty know how is a subforum of 1 or the oither too tired to remember
in fact if the lounge got a mod, mod can u move
    ?
