one fish two fish red fish blue fish. it tells alot of different stories but i had it as a kid and always loved it
I don't know why, but I always liked Wacky Wednesday a lot. How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a classic, though... That just may be my favorite.
I'm gonna go with One Fish Two Fish as well. And when I was REAL little I was obsessed with The Foot Book XD
I love Dr. Seuss. I always read On Beyond Zebra to kids for story time. My Many Colored days is good, too. And I like the Butter Battle Book. They are all good.
I remember that one ^^, . I wasn't as familiar with that as one fish two fish, red fish blue fish, cat in the hat, or green eggs and ham, but I liked it. I like the Grinch too. Anyone remember Are You my Mother? Or that one about that fish that got huge? Just curious.
I'm gon' go with the Butter Battle Book and the Sleep Book. Classic social commentary from Mr. Geisel on the first one and just a great bedtime read for the cherished lil' ones on the second.
The Sleep Book would still work on my kids if I could find a new copy of it, and they are four and seven. I love Dr. Seuss, all of his are favorites of mine, so picking just one is very hard.
My favorite is The Lorax. It has an amazingly deep message and can make me cry. The Sneetches, Yertle the Turtle, and The Butter Battle Book are great for that as well. I remember Are You My Mother? from when I was little, and that was always a favorite of mine.
Oh man I love Dr Seuss! My mum got second hand boxload of his books for me. My favourite has to be "I Licked Thirty Tigers Today!". Taking on a crowd and whittling it down to none. lol There was one story that freaked me out quite abit. Can't remember the title of it but it was about some dude being stalked by a pair of pants WITH NOBODY IN THEM!. Anybody recall that one or was I just oding on seuss?
When I was younger my favorite was always Fox in Socks. I thought it was really fun to read once I could actually read on my own. Now, I'd have to say my favorite is The Lorax. Not only is it something I can actually enjoy and see the incredibly important message within its pages... its my son's favorite book right now. And its very fun to teach him the lesson being taught in the book. He'll point at the barbaloots and say, 'they sick, momma.' and i explain why they're not feeling well... and with the swans, and the fish... and he knows its because of the trees. now whenever we go outside, he always wants to water the trees so they don't dry up or die. haha.
The only ones I can recall reading are: - The Cat in the Hat - There's A Wocket in my Pocket - Marvin K. Mooney, Will You Please Go Now? - Green Eggs and Ham
