In my preperation for dreads, i used dr bronners 12 part water, 1 part dr b. It made my hair feel like dry straw. I brushed a section cos it was like all stuck together and ikky, and it left white residue on my comb! Any ideas on what im doing wrong, or is it just not for me?
probly your wayer always forget if its hard or soft water that does it but 1 type males anything very hard to rince soaps harder then detergents some1 siggessted adding just a lil borax to the soap to make it easier to rinvce when u wash your body with dr b does it leave u feelin sticky or slippery cause with the water ghere i find it rinces cleanerr then just about anuthing oh and u did get the right 1 rught? the 18 in 1 magis soap? i found the baking sosda after using just it for months made my dreads dry styff anbd hard so i started alternating with dr b again id think about alternating and maybe try adding borax to the dr b i think it changes the ph or something to make it rince easierr
I had problems with the liquid bronners too. I recently switched to the tea tree bar soaps and they work much better for me.
Yeah, i got the 18 in 1 stuff. I believe i live in a hard water area and ive read around here that that effects it. And it's fine on my body, i feel clean! Thanks everyone =]
