This thread shows more needs to be done to inform people of this incident, inthydreams could have ordered the "2c-b-fly" (turns out its bromo-dragonfly, look on bluelight) and not known a thing about the deaths...
I think the info has been put out pretty well. I mean it's on all the big forums, and erowid. And yea it's bromo, but it isn't pure bromo. It does contain impurities, so even taking a proper bromo dose could still be fatal. Another dude got hospitalized in Spain by the way.
a proper dose of pure bromo by itself can be fatal I believe, lot's of OD's with this one. My guess would be it may just be BDF OD and possibly the impurities just added to the vasoconstriction, hyperthermia and cardiac arrest that bromo causes? uneducated guess but all the deaths seem to be the same as bromo OD's.
Seems like a reasonable conclusion. One guy did survive a 10 mg. dose though...must have been one hell of a trip. If I had ordered this chem. I would toss it at this point. It's def. not pure bromo. The marquis shows that.

I'll third it!:cheers2: I hardly stray away from the Psychedelics section at all with Synthetic being my favorite. Oh, and DPT is up there with the DMTs as most potent tryptamine medicine.
I know it isn't entirely possible, but how would one describe the differences between DPT and DMT? Obviously duration is much longer, and from what I've read about DPT it seems much harsher on the body than DMT in terms of comfort during the trip, and administration.

Yea, read those. Was looking for some new info of any sort. It's pretty easy for me to comfortably relax on DMT (even when smoking 300+ mg.). I'm curious if that's even possible on a DPT trip. Sounds uncomfortable for the entire come up. If i come across another source carrying this substance I'll give it a go regardless. Also, I get a soul, and body "warming" sensation on DMT. Is this also present in DPT? Or is it more of a sinister sensation (even for a DPT vet)?
i would never describe DPT as sinister (even from a first time perspective) for the same reason I would never describe DMT as sinister. I really cant stress enough how similar they are. Since Ive only smoked DMT and only snorted DPT, I wont compare their come ups and all that since the ROA is so different, but in terms of how I would compare the two peak experiences as discrete events . . . Indistinguishable. They are both captured by words like "Fractal, liquid, shimmering, thatness, spirals, swirling, breathing, colors" and "you" coming out of your pores. With DMT I imagine all electrons in existence chanting to themselves as they vibrate faster and faster and begin to blur into just one single continuous particle of being, with DPT I imagine the universe pounding on a tiger skin drum passionately while giving birth to itself, dying, and achieving orgasm and enlightenment simultaneously. Its really hard to phrase it for you because while the differences are ultimately insignificant, while youre in the throws of the medicine, you are definetely not confusing dmt with dpt. dpt is like what dmt would take if it wanted "that" . but not to downplay dmt, dont misunderstand.
I've always wanted to try DPT, but after reading your post Writer, I'm extremely excited to experience it now. Really, I don't know if I've ever been so interested in trying a substance. You coming out of your pores . That's definitely what happened my last DMT trip. Along with me somewhat melting into the ocean that used to be carpet. I know of one source that's considering carrying it in the future, but none at the moment.
