its very difficult to do anything that politics doesnt have an influence on in any modern society. everything you eat, every time you step out your house, every time you spend or earn money, politics is playing an integral role

Politics gives order, stability and prosperity (ie food)
Politics is the rule of one, a few or many over all. Politics is management.

Political science is the study & analysis of the use of and abuse of power & legitimate use of power.

It most definitely affects my everyday life. Politics affects everyday life in government.

Locke would say that politics is essentially about Life, Liberty and Property (Protection).
Think about it. The government is the ony institution that can legally kill you.

Politics is the process, and it's purpose is to record, explain and predict. Any persistent pattern between relationships involve power, rule and authority. Politics is the means towards sovereignty, a state, laws, regulations, constitutions, customs, education, quantative freedoms, qualitative freedoms, ad nauseum.

Politics is a conventional interaction between people, nations and countries in authority. It's an artificial product of humanity, and has proven quite functional.

I look at it as poly-ticks.

Multiple ticks that is. You know, those pesky little critters that get under your skin and give you Lyme Disease?
