Hello, first post here,although ive been visiting secretly for quite some time Sorry if this is long, I write loads all the time! I'm an 18 year old guy (soon to be 19 in just a few days!) from the UK. I came out to my mum on the 28th sept (I'll always remember that date) and she responded with great support and acceptance. I recently started Art college and got a whole new bunch of friends, I've started to slowly come out to them one by one too. Anyway, the reason for my post is that one time during lunch break I came out of the cafeteria and saw a guy coming down the stairs. He looked at me in a very odd way,kinda like he was looking right into me, and usually, when you connect eye contact with a stranger you then break eye contact straight away, but on this occasion we both maintained eye contact for a long time. I then walked out of the college with my friends as he did, and as he headed towards the front gate he turned around and looked at me again. I definately felt a strong sensation that he was into me.So anyway,with a bizare stroke of luck his whole class came into my classroom that afternoon to watch a dvd. And the whole time i could feel him watching me, and he was whispering to his two friends that were sat with him (both girls). At the time, I got a feeling that he fancied me, so about a week or so went by and I didnt see him again til I almost bumped into him as I was leaving college. I didnt say anything though,just incase I got mixed signals in the first place. So I left college and about 15 minutes later when I was stood at the bus stop waiting for my bus (which is always late) he walks by the opposite side of the road. He pulled a smile at me but looked really nervous when doing it, and when he began to walk further down the road I thought in my head ' turn around and look at me' and he did! Again and again and again, he kept walking a little further and then turning right round to look at me,I had such a huge grin on my face lucky or what?! Ive seen him a couple more times since then around the college,when we see each other we just stare and smile as usual, I dont really know how to make the first move though, just incase in my desperation to find love I've gotten completely the wrong idea about him and he perhaps just finds my appearance interesting ( I wear crazy japanese punk inspired clothing.) I told my two closest friends about him (theyre both girls too) and they think he really fancies me. There was a time in a previous college I went to where a boy showed similar body language when he saw me,and we ended up getting very intimate. This new potential admirer looks quite feminine by the way. He has very dark sad puppy eyes and long eyelashes. I guess you could say he ticks some of the boxes for a stereotypical gay guy look. So could anybody give any advice and tell me your opinion on whether he likes me or not? my gut feeling is screaming that he does but I think I jsut need some reassurance because I'm very self conscious about the way I look and I'm also very shy in these situations. I'd say he fancies you. That's just what I think from what you've mentioned. I can't say that I've have any experience with such a situation though. If I were in your shoes I'd go over and talk to him if you can. Find anything you possibly can to get a few words with him. Innocent banter but I'm sure he'll be so damned exited that you're talking to him that he'll go and do something impulsive and try and kiss you or something. That seems to be my plan for everything. I guess I'm screwed if I ever get the hots for a non-impulsive guy. Good luck.
Dude, Show some guts. He is sending on all frequencies in a pretty obvious manner. So, say, hey, how's life, care to hang out with me sometime, go for coffies or something? In all likelihood, he'll say 'YES' and you'll take it from there. If he declines, which I do not think, is very likely, you just move on. There are other hot dudes around, too. KD
Individuality rocks. That's probably what he digs about you. And I do think he totally digs you. Just go say hi, ask him about himself. Conversation should be easy when there's chemistry.
