Does anyone know where any hippie communes are that arnt so organized? Does anyone know where some communes are that dont have entrance fees and other such things? Are there any real communes left liek the ones in the sixties? And where are they? What are some good communes?
Hey brother, if anyone helps you out, PM me with the info, if you would, please. I've been wanting to know this for a while now too.
theres one over here like I guess its organized but everyone runs it theres no guru no ones in charge its been around for about 30 years but its a bit far away from you I guess lol
come to india its kaos at its best there are no rules you do what you want about 10 bucks buys you out of any crime. and if you like pot its cheep and hey its a country of freedom
Might be good, but probably a lot of hard work. You do realise that some organisation is necessary, especially considering the number of people that have to get along (most of the time) The entrance fee is probably to ensure you are serious about joining. And to cover costs. Never lived in a commune myself, but the concept appeals (at least just trying it) Why not ask at the communial living forum here.
I have a friend who has been living in a commune for about 10 years outside Lake Tahoe. I have been there to visit three times sence she and her husband have been there and I myself have contemplated the thought of packing it in and living there too. They live completly free of any outside need. They grow their own food. They have people that are of medical Knowledge. They have solar energy. I would have to say that they live a pretty good life. They grow the best pot I have ever smoked.
if they have such a great place they shouldent risk it by growing pot...cops will shut down whole communes fot growing pot anyway...i am going to collage for buissness and agriculture and then i am starting a commune in new mexico...i just need a little bit more funding but i think i will be able to get it by the time im out of college
How organized is the place? I'm looking for a place that is really casual. I don't have a lot of money. Is there a big enterance fee? How many people live there, and would they just take in anyone that was willing to help out or what? I'd like to know more about it and other communes as well. Also, if theres anyone that would just like to room together or something, my boyfriend and I are looking for a place to go. Thanks.
If there are any communes out there, you couldn't get any info from an internet message board, seeing as how technology is frowned upon in most communes(atleast it was in the 60's).
Gate68, I know you are trying to be funny but. Oh fuck it, it's a free forum, say what ever the the fuck you want. And to address the pot growing from the above poster, They go way up to grow. The shit tastes like you are smoking a pine tree
