Do you make your bed everyday? Do you make dinner and lunch everyday? My fiance and I found out today we are going to need to add the baby onto his insurance plan that my mom's plan doesn't allow the baby to stay on his plan.... and it going to require us to save another $100 a month from our budget... So what do you do to save money? I know Dave made a post recently about this.... but I want other creative ways... besides stop doing this and that. In the long run $100 isn't much.
Hell no Most of the time... I have direct deposits set up out of my pay check to my auto loan and then all my bills are set to auto payment on the 1st and 15th of then month. What ever is left in the bank is play money. But I dont "save"
I dont see the point in it I make lunch, not dinner...i suck at cooking I earn 200 dollars ONCE in a blue moon washing company trucks but thats nothin and I usually spend it on gas
i make a mess out of it daily. yes.. if i don't cook or make food everyday i feel like something is missing. i save money by only buying needs and if i want something i think it over first. (i still didn't buy that doll on ebay.)
No No, but I do cook dinner every other day. I hide some of my money each week...the whole out of sight out of mind thing. Plus I'm not much of a spender. Oh and I always put my change in a glass jar thingy. iggy: I probably have a little over $200 in change.....and that's because I had used quite a bit of it a few months back.
I hardly ever make the bed. On most days I have lunch out somewhere, and my fiance makes the dinner. I make dinner maybe twice a week. Ways to save money.. at the moment, all I can think of is that we got a wood burning stove for our house, that'll make a huge difference as we won't have to turn the heating on. Also, when it comes to food, I've found that buying stuff from local shops is actually way cheaper than going to the supermarket. Like today, I spent £15 at the butcher's and got enough stuff for at least five dinners.
I cannot study in my room, or just spend any time in it unless the bed is made. So I make it as soon as I get up.
Random thread. I don't make my bed. I don't make my lunch, my dad makes it. I don't make dinner but sometimes I have to help out. Occasionally on the weekends I make a special meal (e.g. today we made burgers), something we never have usually and will take longer. EDIT: I don't spend any money.
i usually make my bed just before getting in it at night. this is because i always take the comforter off and use it in the other room during the day, and it's hard to put it back on if the sheets below it are all willy nilly. i eat lunch and dinner every day; i tend to buy it or take it from work more often than i cook it though. i don't spend money on things i don't need.
I don't make my bed unless I'm putting clean sheets on it, which is about once a week I eat lunch and dinner every day, breakfast rarely and I only spend money on things that will either save me money or make me money
Every day; but there’s not much of a bed to make with only a king size down comforter to adjust Hotwater
kind of, its 2 feathered comforters, so it basically makes itself. yes. unless we order out. (hub cant cook, and I can) some ppl donate plasma, if your not scared of that. you cant do that for a while anyways cus of the baby.. but your man could. or participate at those survey places (at the mall is where we have one) and they give you 5-60 dollars (dependind on what survey theyre doing) and if you dont qualify to take the survey they give you at least 1 dollar. sell items you dont use on ebay
well if they can afford a maid, they might as well buy an extra mattress too... ok, between the mattress and the box spring. just for the record, i don't actually find change in there either...
