No, I don't. I mean, technically, the government and society shouldn't be separate in the US. We're supposed to be working together. I see people that have this idea (and I developed this idea as well, through what I was taught) that the government is in charge, they make the rules, and that's that. Truth is, most people I see, including myself, don't give a second thought to anything. I've never read the constitution, never in public school was I offered modern US politics information. That's pretty fucked. Seeing as I don't trust US society, I can't trust the government.

I trust them about as much as somebody I do not know very well. They are a group of people rather than a mass - so there will be some good and some bad. I can't say I have had any reason, on a personal level, not to trust them.
Well I agree that some people in government aren't corrupted, a vast majority are. We live in a structure of government, where the most important jobs, (such as president and congress) are owed by the most elite industries (such as JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs,) AND the system is set up for legalized bribery. How else would one describe "Super PAC's?" Our Government is a giant corporate military-industrial country based off of exploiting other countries resources. Because we can never be the "worse country" in the world, if we keep everyone else down. That's what people fail to realize. Obama and the UN aren't some great "Peace Keepers." They are bully military police forcing the world to abide with our demands. Our government imo, are terrorists. We go around the world blowing up peoples houses and making ragime changes as we sit fit. Pink Floyd is my favorite band. I saw Rodger Waters play "the wall" just this year, and it was amazing!!!
