Sorry for another thread, but I was just thinking... I really love my last name and even if I get married I never want to give it up. How about you?
Was your old name something like "Snodgrass"? Sorry if anyone has that last name, but I think it is a funny name.
I'd like to hyphenate my last name with Charles' last name, but if I did I would have the longest name ever. It would really be ridiculous.
You know, I just felt it. I can't hold back my feelings and you shouldn't expect me too. ..... thank you
I did not do that as besides liking my name it is Scottish and his was french..would of been rather an odd paring. My surname is my kids third name, so that worked for me. They can legally use it later if they wish to in combination with their surname, or not.
Mine is Scottish and his is Italian, but somehow they totally go together. But 'Christine' is already a long name and then with two last names, it would just be craziness.
My ex had a hyphenated name and it came to about 27 letters. But, it was cool I liked it. I think I would like to keep my name, but I do like the idea of including the name of the person I might marry.
My surname is double barreled, but it's only like 15 letters. His name must have been nuts. But yeah, I kind of like mine, there isn't another person on the planet who shares my name- i'm sure of that.
I'm Happy With It. It's Unusual Enough That There Are Only Four In The Phone Book, But Is Simple Enough For 99% Of People To Get The Spelling Correct... And There Is Even A Street Nearby, Named After My Family. How Cool Is That... Cheers Glen.
I am 99% convinced your name is actually Glen Glen. It fits the description it's easy to spell, there wouldn't be too many people with that name, and i'm sure there's a street somewhere called Glen street
