do you like your job?

well do you? is there any redeeming qualities to your work?

im a lowly ski technician,
i work on skis and snowboards...and i rent them too...

i work with a bunch of my friends, i fuck with customers, and i when stressed am an asshole to the customers...and they love me for it

its a fun job most of the time but somedays i just want to kill people like anyone at a job where they have to deal with the public

 

i'll sleep much better knowing you like your job.

My job sucks with a capital BLOWS.

 

My job is...as okay as working in the fast food industry can get. Some days suck, some don't, sort of like my life outside of work. The customers can be great, and sometimes they can be real asspains. I don't hate it, though. I can eat anytime I want to after 4, and it's fun to get creative with the various foods we have.

 

i love my summer job, its the only time of the year i work right now

 

must be nice...im on unemployement insurance now haha...until the ski season starts...

This is only my 4th week there, so i havent had time to get sick of it yet

Theres about 40 people, and 0 cubicles so I can see everyone by looking around the office. I sit infront of a computer all day, so i dont have to deal with the public, though it can be very frustrating at times.

Its very laid back, and right in the heart of the city. It sucks that it takes nearly 2 hours to get to work, but thatll change when i move, within two blocks of it.

and it pays well

I loved my summer job. I worked in a safe house for children who had run away from their homes, it was hard but also very rewarding, definitely a very eye-opening experience.
Now... I'm back to being a full time student.

 

I had a job up until 8/31. It was with americorps.

it was alright.

 

My job has good and bad days.

 

Love/hate. Retail. Manager has the fastest mood changes I've ever run across. Commission is nice though. Customers can be fab or awful. I hate slow days, few customers and no stock/markdowns/conversions/reshuffling to do, just standing around drives me batty (especially since we can't sit or read on the job)

 

I have to go to work this morning.Dread.

actually, yes. I love my job. I'm back to building houses again. other odds and ends, anything dealing with carpentry and general construction. Fuck that factory bullshit. and plus the money is shit loads better here too. And being an independant contractor, there is all kinds of good shit that comes my way.

 

for the most part i am very content with my job..

next month will be 19 years that i have worked there..

i see my boss for less than a hour a week,
theys good people where i work.
an yeah i get to be a complete ASSHOLE when justified in my minds eye..:X

im still where i started as far as advancement,, i wonder why?/,:H ,,but the PERKS are MUCH better..

my retirement is growin an im workin less for more..

so yeah im pretty content where i work..
