any teenagers out there who have a job? I was thinking of getting one because I'm in need of money but, i hate the idea of working for the man. Another idea I had was to start guitar lessons and, once I get good enough, play on the street with an open case. So post what your job is or the ways you get money.
i dont have a job....but you have a good idea especially if you live in a big city ....once i went to a base ball game and saw abunch of dudes playing guitar after the game and i put money in there case they had quite alot....it looked like,it does sound like a good idea though...
Man, I think that's everyone's dream, to sit around on the street and play music for money. >.<;; My friend and I sat outside and sang for a few hours in December, but we didn't get any money. Of course, someone else joined us! Anyway, I babysit my little brothers, and on top of that, I don't have the time at ALL for a real job. Of course, this summer I'm looking for a part-time job at a bowling alley or the boardwalk near my house. Jobs are necessary. :/ It totally sucks, but it's true.
I babysit my younger brother all the time but, my parents don't pay me for it. That's cool working on a boardwalk I wouldn't mind working there. Next year when I get more time I might work at the grocery store. I don't want to but, I need the cash. Hope you enjoy your job or, at least get paid decently.
For school we have to get a job in a community place, to get some experience with jobs, but also help out in the community. I think it's a really great idea, and in a month or so I'll be starting work in an op shop. It should be a lot of fun, but we're not getting paid for any of that. A few of my friends already have jobs, but I don't think I NEED one yet, but soon, maybe in a year or two, I'll definitely be looking for a part time job. It really depends where you work, it could turn out to be a lot of fun, and you might meet some interesting people, get some good experiences out of it. peace and love Jane
I work in a supermarket, i hate it so much I could give it up tomorrow, but alas I have no other sources of income and no other job prospects
i do a bit of work in a music studio - they hire out out amps and stuff to music venues. its like being a roadie who isnt on the road. basaically lifting and and carrying, but there are sum perks- lots of live music
i've had a job since i was 13. i used to go straight from school to this guys house, then we'd drive round to all these offices in cambridge until 2AM and then saturdays sometimes at 7AM until like 1AM. Was such a good job, so much money but my studies were being spoilt. Not like it matters now as i am a proffessional wrestler on weekends and a sales clerk in the week haha.im 19 so technically still teens :H
Landscaping, great job, $12 a hour, boss is nicest guy ever Made $3450 in 2 months last summer, get aton of hours in and alot of it is just driving to places
I have an easy job at a nursing home. All I can say is that they're happy with hard working hippies. I believe hippies can be very hard working. Especially if they're on the street keeping melodies.
I just got a job at Quiznos and it's fucking awesome! For instance, tonight the owners weren't there so we just smoked blunts in the back of the store and had someone up front to yell back if a customer came in.
I forgot to mention, when the owner isn't there we just eat all the sandwiches we want and have hookups with the other food places in the shopping center, so they give us free ice cream or Chinese food, or pizza and we give them subs.
Today was pretty good, driving around for 2 and ahalf hours stoned as hell, smoking joints with the rocky mountains in the distance, cant beilive I get payed for this shit
Haha Quiznos that's freakin' awesome! Hey Captain Cannabis I've thought about doing that but, where does one get the weed to sell? I know that sounds stupid but, do you buy it and sell it for more? Do you work for somebody? Yes, I realize this might sound idiotic but, I'm just gettin into this whole weed thing. You don't have to answer. lol
