I do, increasingly often these days.

I love strolling around town and the seafront in the small hours.

I go for walks alone all the time.... pretty much everyday. I love walking on the canal path, watching the boats make their way down the Erie. Today was beautiful on the canal.

Dude try walking down a dead end street knowing a redneck will be there at any time of day or night. There is a spring fed swamp down the road, and I swear most of those guys live there.

Only when I have no ride to/from work. The neighbors keep letting their rots loose and there's no way I'm going to be a mean ass dog's dinner if I can help it. Not to mention, I'm not a very big fan of being completely alone.

HAHAHAHA!!!! OMG that reminded me....we had some stupid fair in town and the cops had a booth set up. Of course I walked by to see what they wanted to bitch about and ended up laughing my ass off. They were complaining about how easy it is for people to make meth.....but the kicker -> they had the ingredients listed as well as how to cook it.

    Gotta love the south!

the first time i walked five miles completely by myself, i was living in truckee california, this was before i started kindergarten there, so i couldn't have been much over four and a half. my parents were a bit worried at first. but i managed to convince them i was responsible enough not to get myself in trouble enven then, and they never tried to stop me and i've been doing so for all the years ever since. of course you've got to undersand this was like out in the boonies in those days. totally different situation then in any kind of a city would be. there's a lot of parts of a lot of towns where i wouldn't ever want to intentionally. but out in the boonies, in nature, you know, critters don't hardly ever mess with each other the way humans do. at least the ones that live very long don't. as long as you don't try to mess with them, and keep your eyes open so you don't step on a rattle snake or something, you're a hell of a lot safer there, then you ever would be in any city or major large town. however you define what a city is.

I would...but my town is rather scary at times.

There is a guy who walks through my neighborhood around 1am every single day. It's kind of scary when I'm coming home late and just see this random guy walking around.

i used to take runs at like 3am when i live don an acreage. then i moved into the city and yeah sometimes i walked but beign in teh 'burbs means there isnt really anywhere to walk -to-, yknow? id bike to places though, much more faster. then i moved again and started walking around some more, in an area with more parks and coffee shops and a road filled with stores n stuff... then i got a creepy ass peeping tom and didnt feel comfortable being out of my house without a flashlight and a knife on me after about 10pm. now ive moved again and mebbe ill start picking it up... though itd feel a bit like im copying my roomie if id o that.

part of hte problem is that i only ge tthe urge to take walks after dark, which means that if im in a sketchy neighbourhood its just stupid
