basicly other forms of our life in the endless universe we happen to be part of. the thread i done about god, was just to see whether same people believe in both, and whether most ppl who dont believe in god believe this
woah do people seriously think that with all those billions of other planets that were the only one inhabited. shit i belive in that stuff because it makes life so much more fun!
Those "animals" that they say we can't see because they move too fast. Shit like that freaks me out. We are probably surrounded by all different kinds of creatures that our brains and eyes can't detect.
Ya, my family is renting all of Cosmos 1 disk at a time. It's mind blowing stuff if you haven't seen it.
the very concept of space is so mind fucking and complex, how can we possibly deny the existence of other life out in all that infinity. i doubt theyre coming and watching us like we imagine they do. they exist out there on their own planet, or in god only knows what other ways. tis crazy
life as we know it occurs only during a pretty extreme series of random events. taken as a whole it's a pretty low chance that we'd even be here. so 'life', at least in the mundane, earthlike form is probably pretty rare. however, we are such limited creatures we probably aren't even aware of most of what's happening around us. we could all be cells in a massive organism that we are unaware of. so. do i think there's a chance that life exists outside earth? definately. is there a chance it's more complex than bacteria? possibly. does it travel the galaxy to fuck with rural folk? no chance in hell.
wow sounds cool; I'd love to check that out. I'll have to scan ebay. I just bought 'billions and billions', I just hope I have the time to read it soon.
Does the pope shit in the woods? Imagine the world from a mold spores point of view, then try to realize we might be nothing more than a complex form of mold blinded from our one true purpose in life by our ego. What we use to set our selves free from instinct, and take so much pride in, the one true thing that sets us apart from animals, could be the same thing that further holds us to our duty and job as humans. Eating away at the earth till there is nothing left. We think we are better than animals becasue we can control our world but we view every thing on such a small scale that its hard for us to see we are actually killing it. We should not compare our selves to animals, they live in balance and adpot rather than change for a reason. Humans take on the world like it is a challenge or a conflict. We are never satisfied, we continually advanced our technology, we build more and more cities, produce more and more food and waste. The farther we go the better we belive humanity is becoming but we are really working to create the death of humanity. when the deer population becomes to large for an area some of the deer die off, the deer don't plant fields of corn to sustain more and more deer, but because humans are smart enough to change our world to meet our needs we are able to grow and grow, the problem is we don't see a laimit, our earth can only sustain so much before it is exhausted and every thing we rely on to advance is lost. When this happens what will we do. When we have gone so far there is nothing left for us to take, no room to build no food to eat. We will either die off like everything els, or move on to another planet given a long enough timeline the whole universe. I don't think humans are unique or smart, I just think we are so caught up in our own problems our own little world and our own egos we cant even see that the mold growing on the sandwich in our kitchen could be a very close model of us as a whole. Not to mention the though that there could be something out there that is viewing us as a rotten sandwich and is ready to throw us in the the comparative trash can. That thought is just to mind fucking for me!
obviously u have no clue. us humans are using our best technology to go out into space and search for other life. atm our intellegence only lets us explore our solar system, and only few planets on it. but the highly possible other forms of alot higher intellect can perhaps travel at speeds of light, and go alot further than just theire bit of universe. so what u reckon if NASA could travel alot further than the milky way they wouldnt do it??? and if they found a planet full of cavemen they wouldnt want to see what theyre like and experiment on them, because thats what we are to the highly intelect extra terrestrial beings. so yes, they do travel the galaxy to fuck with rural folk, because if we could, we would do it too. but i highly doubt we will survive to a time where we can, because our fucked up governments and 50% of worlds population being buttfucking shitcock retards
you can't accelerate to (or beyond) the speed of light. just can't. you can, however, bend space-time to your liking, but it requires about as much energy as the sun produces. so, if an alien race, so superior in their technology, would somehow be able to posess a way of bending space, they probably wouldn't need to go study some apes on a rock in the middle of nowhere, nor would it be very practical. a lot of the whole alien thing is like religion. people just want to know that they aren't alone, that someone, or something out there is greater than they are. but the fact is, we just don't know, i'm not mocking your beliefs, so i would expect you to do the same.
