Just a totally random thought i thought id share... does anyone know if animals respond to music? like do you think dogs can distinguish between different rythms and tempo's and can actually like the sound of some music? do they know what it is? Anyone got any pets that groove? lol
my anole loved music! when i put on sublime hed jump from one twig to another and he would get really friendly. i think animals like music in general because we share a lot of qualities with them
I don't know about music but my cat used to get very mad at me when I'd change the channel from American's Funniest Home Videos. He'd be on the couch and start growling a little when I changed the channel, then he'd get up and walk away.
lol i think they do like it, my dog gets excited when i start dancing, he starts jumping around with me, like hes trying to copy, and it looks like hes smiling
I kind of feel bad soemtimes, because Ill go into my room or the basement and start blasting music, and then Ill notice my cat is sleepign in that room, but they never look disturbed, so I have no idea.
Well, "animals" is a bit vague...Humans, birds, what? If you mean like creatures kept as pets...our bunnies love the music, and stomp and get moody if its too loud or too heay rock. They like relaxing stuff
I think animals like music, I've seen cats and dogs behave differently to different types of music, so they must have some appreciation for it. Everything is music, anyways.
