So I tripped intensely about a week ago and I'm just now feeling like I can adequately communicate the experience. I load up the OB with some huge amount of impure DMT and took 3 of the biggest hits physically possible. It was here that I learned the hard way that I do not eat enough peas to accurately eyeball a pea-size dose. I start feeling a really intense sensation of falling, and my head flops back against the couch. The ceiling I'm looking at starts raining its physical elements on my face, and "beyond" it I can see bright light and twisting columns with hieroglyphic looking symbols printed on every surface. I look away from the ceiling into the room I'm in and it and everything in it are in a state of continuous visual transformation. Everything changes too fast to even form a memory of what it looks like at any given point. The only consistency is the hieroglyphic looking symbols, which cover every visible surface. I close my eyes and I'm soaring through a space composed of perfect geometrical structures made entirely of swirling color. Everything looks very "real" and three-dimensional. There are humanoid entities occupying every part of this space, and they are made of pure color as well. The entities seem really out of place to me because everything else basically looks like a geometric 3D kaleidoscope. They're all talking to me but there's so much chatter that I cannot understand what they mean, or maybe I just can't exactly remember at this point. I think in general it was mostly positive advice or some kind of instructions. I realize that I'm not just soaring through this space on my own, I'm being carried by other entities behind me that I cannot see, but when I move my arm I can see another arm made of color holding mine. This profound sense of another presence starts to overwhelm me and I really want it to stop, but the trip continues in this fashion for what seems like a very long time to me. I didn't even consider trying to open my eyes until I'm finally starting to come out of it. When I'm coming to I start violently and uncontrollably shaking for at least 5 minutes, and I feel like I'm on the verge of crying. My sitter said I was mumbling incoherently nearly the whole time my eyes were closed. Eventually I calm down enough to open a beer and smoke a much needed cigarette. For days all I could say to anyone about the experience was "holy shit..." I guess this was a pretty stereotypical DMT trip. But it was by far the most mind-blowingly intense experience I've ever had. I've heard people say it's "challenging to Atheism" and I can definitely see why. I've never felt another presence like that before. That was the first time I've ever felt like I wasn't completely alone... It will likely be a little while before I try it again. I want to be outside under a cloudy sky next time...
sounds intense. that challenge to atheism thing has me wondering... i know ive felt more spiritual since taking hallucinogens, but never felt another presence like that. i wonder what that would be like for me
I've done plenty acid and mushrooms and had that really broad perspective experience of total unity with existence and all, but this was entirely different. The feeling of a concrete presence outside myself was new to me. Very strange. I was also thinking about how when I was a kid learning about drugs in school, this is what I thought drugs would be like. Total reality bending and mind blowing. Yeah DMT is some serious fucking drugs...
Wow! :rofl::willy_nilly: Damn! Well-put. My husband and i just pulled out a pea-sized amount (We DO eat a lot of peas) from my latest gorgeous (pure) extraction. Now the amount we pulled out and tried to imagine compacting into a pea-sized sphere shape was a little low-looking. My husband suggested doubling it. WITHOUT doubling it i got exactly 60 mgs. That would explain quite nicely all the effects that you achieved, including the after-effects. Please, if you choose to continue exploring materials that are active in the milligram range, invest in a mg scale. Little, quite accurate jeweler's scales are quite inexpensive. This sounds like it was an amazing and profound DMT experience. i felt like i was there and when i read it to my husband out loud he immediately chuckled at the part about the hieroglyphics being everywhere then closing eyes into geometry/entities/etc and said, "Hmmmph! Been there." Don't underestimate or undervalue it. It was pure DMT but in no way "stereotypical." i suspect you'll get more what i mean if you continue to work with DMT. DMT is powerful and transformative and a single dose can change people's lives forever. Regarding the outdoors under a cloudy sky idea - best is to ensure you are in a truly isolated area away from "civilisation" and potential interruptions. Also, i have had the most GORGEOUS DMT visions with sunlight coming at me at an angle - not right overhead like at noon, but rather right after sunrise and right before sunset. He he, the best hunting time for cats. (Don't know where that came from). Anyway, thanks for this amazing report and congratulations on EARNING your username!
Yeah I really do want to look into a mg scale. I worry a little about the friends I gave "one" dose to... I definitely learned that DMT is medicine, it's not supposed to be "fun". I guess I was initially expecting something like a super condensed acid trip. I will indeed continue working with it though, I feel it calling already
Oh, and btw, congratulations on hearing the "elf language!" Terence McKenna spoke on it and Gracie (Gracie & Zarkov) also wrote about it. i am still waiting to hear it. My entities always communicate via sign language and telepathy only. Did you have any music playing in the background? Oh, one more thing: Why was the DMT impure? You know you can re-crystalize to fix that problem . . .
Yeah come to think of it the voices did have an elfish quality. My friend was playing Sphongle (sp?). I'm generally not into trippy electronic type stuff but it definitely integrated well into my experience. And I don't mind smoking a little plant matter

You WILL know when the time is right. i had snow-white, crystal N,N, DMT is my fridge for a number of weeks (this after knowing about it for 23 years and preparing for about 2) before i took a 10mg taste . . . Very soon thereafter i was routinely vaping 40-65 mgs. When the time came i almost felt "possessed." No doubt just possessed by my own compulsion, but it was a powerful "call" that could not be denied and helped to usher me into fantastic initial experiences . . . .
spicey cat, what's your advice for a first time dose of yellowish orange DMT? i'm thinking of starting with ~30 mg.
If you own a Vaporgenie and vape in under 1 min., you can expect a decent chance to breakthrough with 30 mgs. . . . . Most of the people here believe that you should start with a breakthrough dose. But, i am an old lady (compared to others) and i have had more than my share of bad and difficult experiences. Also, i want anyone who tries it to like it so that they will continue taking DMT. i want everyone to have a breakthrough dose before their body dies. It's part of my insanity. Part of ensuring this vision is encouraging people to start light and work their ways up. As i have posted quite a bit here an elsewhere i personally never believe in diving directly into the deep end nor initiating people by throwing them into the deep end. So, i always recommend starting with about 10 mgs, BUT to have a number of other doses prepared, set aside and READY to use before you come back to baseline, . . . assuming you like it. Start with 10 mgs. When you feel you are over the peak, try 25 mgs as soon as you feel over. This should send you MUCH deeper. When the trance breaks, load ANOTHER 25 mgs IMMEDIATELY and go for it. If you are still enjoying things, have not broken through and want to continue, go ahead and increase dose immediately, i.e. load another 30-40 mgs and go for it. i know others will have many other things to say. Regardless of what YOU CHOOSE, i hope you have a great experience . . .
thanks, spicey cat. i don't own a vaporgenie. i have a bong and an Arizer Extreme vaporizer. i might try to get an oil burner pipe for the DMT though. what temperature do you vaporize at?
As LOW as possible. Most people (including myself) CANNOT get it right and wind up burning at least part of it. When it is vaporized completely it almost has no taste. When it is burned it tastes like very unpleasant burning plastic. So, here's the deal: DMT begins to melt at like 116-120 F (that's F NOT C) degrees. The boiling/vaporization begins closer to 180 (again F not C) degrees i believe. This is significantly LESS THAN the temperature of boiling water. And you don't even want to compare these temps to the temp of a butane lighter or torch. So, if you cannot procure a vaporgenie, you need to try to ensure that the flame NEVER touches the spice. So hard to do. Hold it some distance away and pull the heat (NOT the flame) through the pipe. With an OB (aka crack/meth pipe) slow and steady wins the vaporization race. Most folks melt/vape it too quickly and burn some of it. Hold that flame at least 1/4 inch away and move it around. Good luck!
No, there is a high-tech ceramic (Thank You NASA!) plug/filter/screen (permanently built in) that damps the temp of the flame right down to the PERFECT vaporization temperature for DMT. Works like a charm every time. Vaporizes (does not burn) every microgram. No wasted material and breakthroughs that taste better, are easier on the lungs/throat and do not waste material. i so want to be the poster child (or booth babe/bitch) for Vaporgenie, but am just too old. Oh well.
