DIY Rice Milk

    Seeing how the only thing I can afford right now other than rent (which thankfully includes internet :) ) are very basic bulk foods.

    I ran out of Soymilk yesterday, so I decided to try making rice milk.

    It turned out fairly tasty. However I don't own a cheesecloth so I never strained the "milk" so, its a little chunky.

    Next time I'm definately making the trip to the store to buy some almonds or cashews for protein.

    I followed this recipe.

    I didn't have any vanilla so I left it out.

    Thanks for that badwolf, soya & rice milk are so expensive to buy when you're on a tight budget & alot of vegan recipes call for them. This is great, thanks again :)

    nice, simple recipie, good find!
    to strain, use a knee high stocking! (unused preferbly or VERY well washed and not the foot area)
