Faux chicken fried rice- no pic. but its very good, chicken chopped up, onions carmalized and garlic, cauliflower mashed up as the "rice" with dill and garlic, and other seaosings, grated carrot, egg, ... its really good.

minus the cauliflower I would go for that! I would pick it out and my roomie or gf would probably eat it and be stuffed, ha, thats how they are.

did you prepare it yourself? i love to take the time and prepare my own food, even if I feel lazy at first, it is worth it.

Yeah I made it myself. Six out of seven days I make two to three meals.

I do that because I enjoy cooking as an art and a hobby and because I hate processed food. I do go out to eat wherever the hell I want once or twice a week and it makes it all the better. :D

can't agree more. there is a mexican resturant I go to once or twice a month.

cooking all the time makes being waited on all the more worth it.

Sweet. There is a mexican restaurant that I love also. It's very cheap for the type and quality of food involved.

(drools) Maybe I will have to go there this weekend

My parents, my oldest daughter and I went to a really good Basque Restaraunt.
First off, we had soup (clam chowder for them, veggie for me) with sourdough bread, basque beans and salsa. Next, we had green salad, marinated tomatoes, onions and bell peppers, and pickled tongue. Then it was time for the entry, I had chicken supreme (chicken breast with sauted green peppers, onions and mushrooms, with a slice of swiss cheese. With our entry they served, french fries and corn.

It was damn hella awesomely great food.

cream of mushroom with tuna in it, as a gravey over rice. that was my breakfast about an hour ago. which is my big "dinner". later on thins morning, when i'm getting ready to go to bed as the sun comes up, i'll probably have a light snack of maybe a bit of rare hamburger meat fallowed by a desert of unpresweatened dry cerial with grahams and powdered chocklet and iced coffee mixed in the milk to flavour it.

later on, when i wake up the next time, i may make myself my usual pasta broth with some more of the cow meat, and or shroomies.

You Americans must realise that your Mexican food is actually Tex Mex.

I have never had any good "Mexican" food in the US unless I went to the barrio and ate at a small taco stand.

Ever been to San Fransisco?? I don't know fer sure if the Mexican food there is authentic, but I do know that it does look like or taste anything like "tex mex".

... but please, we're americans... why would we need anything other than Taco Bell... :p
