I wasn't to sure of where to ask this question but this seems like one of the friendliest areas here @ the forums I've not used Doc Bronners in ages and i can't recall what the dilution is. I got the Baby Mild stuff and will mix up small batches at a time so i can add my own oils (going for green tea and lavender for my first mix!). I just don't want it to be tooooo.... what's the word??? To not diluted? Potent? Well, you know what i mean peace barefootnikki
i've never out and out diluted it for that purpose...just used a dime sized amount. but i have found that if i use it on my hair for more than a few days my hair feels sticky. so i just use it on camping trips sometimes. the peppermint makes your genitals tingle heehee
When i first bought some years ago i went for the peppermint... and ooooh la la, it sure did tingle!! I have really soft water and i hear that helps with the residue funk. If not i will just limit the use on my hair. Thanks for the info celtgrrl
I use the bar bronners on my hair...in hopes that it will dry my hair out , frizz it up a bit and maybe just maybe w/out any brushing my hair will lock up after a few years..lol
Rar.... my hair is already fizzed! I might just "let nature takes its course" where my hair is concerned and see what happens. It's curly and usually wild right now. If it locs i'll post about it. BTW.. good luck with yours!
I use the lavender version stright from the bottle onto a shower poofy thing. Just make sure you wet the poof and you well first and it's not a problem. I've used it regularly and have had no problems.
I mix my own and I'm using a 3 parts water one part soap ratio for now. At the kitchen sink, that bottle is 2:3. I'd be more concerned about over-dilution for showers. You can always use less, and using wash cloth/flannel or loofah or the plastic spun "poof" really helps.
o lordie, rar, that's how i ended up with locks! yeah, it says on the package of the bar soap, can be used on hair and body. geez. after that, there was NO turning back. i don't know if the liquid soap is different, but i can't imagine hair not locking from use of that soap. and my hair wasn't too long; it was quite silky and straight. you should have no worries!
