Did you know that concrete can grow?

At least, that's what you'd think by seeing all the morons watering their driveway to clean them. Helloooo! There are brooms for that! It gets me so mad when I see people disrespecting mother earth like that. I usually try to say something, or when my girlfriend is with me, we make loud comments.

Has anybody encountered people like that? If so, what did you do?

Gah. My neighbours ALL do it.
They also wash their cars like every 2 weeks.

i cant see what my neighbors are doing from where im at, but i dont get why anyone ever needs to clean their car or their driveway.

 

I used to live beside a lady who did that. She would sweep the drive way and then spray it :S. ....I'll never understand why!

Were they at least usin' a pressure washer?

 

I'm just guessing, but I think people might be scared of what others may think if they have a dirty driveway. Like they're gonna be associated with poor people or something...

No its absolutely true - concrete can grow. I've been watering my drive for 3 years and its grown from a paving slab to a 3Km driveway all the way from the courtyard to
the palace gates

I do ! have a look under google for this
growing concrete
if you type it in wrongly or too fast
it will not show the correct results
sometimes you have to type "growing"
and look for the bits about growing concrete

Yeah thats something I don't understand. But thats suburbia for you. Everyone in my neighborhood is constantly mowing their lawns. Which is horrible for our atmosphere!

 

and long grass is so much more attractive and comfortable than mowed.

 

Definitely! I always think freshly mowed grass looks like turf, so it seems all plastic-y and unnatural. I guess that's what I get from growing up in the woods. Running through really tall grass is great!

 

I can't breath after someone just mowed their lawn...
