    ok, not my best but...seem to be a bit stuck lately...

    Nothing more than a diamond in the rough
    My value hidden thus
    But if you hold me right,
    and shine your light
    you will see me and the value I hold.
    You may just see another rock in your path
    and walk on by,
    without a try
