Seriously, Dexter Gordon is such an amazing player. His playing is so laid back and beautiful. I can't help but just feel so good when I hear him. Some of the best tone I've ever heard on a tenor saxophone. It's unfortunate that he doesn't often get the recognition that he deserves. I mean, every jazz player knows about him, but he never really made it "big" in the jazz world. Maybe that's because he played with a lot of different bands and mostly in Europe....

Just thought I'd dedicate a thread to him :).
