Hi everyone. I was just wondering what triggers a deja voo and why im always getting them. I think they scary but in a interesting way because when i get them it's like i've been there before and done all that, as in phisically done what i've just seen. sometimes they're even with the very same people as in the deja voo, and they're always so clear as in i can remember a considerable amount of the deja voo after it happens. I've heard that some people cant remember there deja voos after they have one? im not really expecting alot of replies on this as its quite a fuzzy topic but it definately would be interesting to know about. Take Care.
yeh i get them too heaps. another friend does too. not that many people get them. i can never remember them. there is a part of the brain that recognizes things from your perception. im not sure what its called. its affecteds when you get stoned thats for sure. lol always thinknign strangers look like people you know
i believe i know why. i am hesitant to say. I'll just say, what if we were shown all of this before. like a film. and we are just recognizing these events because we've seen them before. before we were born...
I get them a lot personally, I dont know why I do, but they seem cool when they happen, especially when they are Deja Vu dreams. That's what I call them I'm not sure if thats what they are called, but it's the creepiest thing in the world when I see/experience something happen years or months after I had a dream about it, and I mean exactly down to the vector of each movement.
I get Deja Voo alot and I think it's creepy and really awesome at the same time. When I get deja voo it will last for like a couple of mins and that's the weird part, it just keeps going and going and when I think it's over something else will happen. But then other times it will just last a few seconds. It's really weird, and I wish I knew what causes it, considering I will get it like everyday. WonTon I like your theory, it makes sense to me.
I had a deja vu the other day, it was so weird and it freaked me out a little. it lasted quite awhile and i definately still remember what it was about. I find them fun to experiance now.
I have had something similar, precognitive dreams. I will have a dream where a sequence of events in a very clear and detailed setting come true later. sometimes days later, weeks, months, one was about 8 years. The thing is, the dreams are so vivid that I remember them very clearly, but I do not know at the time that they are precognitive. Later, all of a sudden, I will be there. Then it gets cool sometimes cuz I will remember what I saw next and look for it. When I see something that I have already got fixed in my mind, and know is coming up, if the reality is to follow the dream, its feels very cool. I have only had maybe six my whole life, though, but those have been detailed, accurate, and unpredictable by me until I am there, later.
My girlfriend and I were discussing this subject not too long ago. She suggested that when we experienced deja vue that we were actually recalling dreams. She didn't explain it as a precognitave experience, but rather given the infinite possibilities of dreams that the chance is highly likely that we will experience a similar event in life, and it is the subconcious area of the mind that becomes active when this event occurs triggering the deja vue. Almost a feeling like you are awake and dreaming at the same time. What do you all think of that possibility?
I have been experiencing deja voo for a while. But I have the precognitive in which I dream of a specific and detailed event. Then days or weeks after, I experience what I dreamnt, hence the deja voo. I value deja voo's because I usually know what the outcome of the stiuation is going to be. I must admit that I have been haveing more deja voo lately as a result of using marijuana. I don't usually have precognitions when I sleep after I smoke, but rather when I get deep sleep-which is easy to get in college because of exhaustion. The only time I regret having a deja voo was when it occurred while I was using marijuana. I had no distinct feeling of consciousness or awareness and I felt like I was being controlled by my precognition rather than participating in it. I didn't snap out of it until the next morning, when the high wore off. The mind is so complex!
I experience a déja vu ( odd how the spelling differs per person... well I know French ( sortof ) so I'm doing it right and you aren't *sticks out tongue* ) every once in a while and when I do I rejoice for I know that She the Goddess is still watching over her willful servant and rewards me with extra-pleasant Confusion.
Haha confusion is right. I spell it the way i do because in NZ theres a band called Deja Voodoo. Duno what everbody elses excuses are .
my deja-vu is nearley always very random. i will be doing something normal and suddenly i will recognise everything and realise that i had dreamt it about a year before. i will know exactly what is going to happen and it freaks me out!
Here is how I figured this out. The reason u have random events of Deja Vu, is because you have lived this exact life before. The seasons all go in a circle, so why not life itself, Im not talking about reincarnation. Ok, when you die, time for you is non existant, but for everone else it keeps going till the end of time. Then the moment time/and everything ends, it starts over again, and everything that has ever have been starts over again and happens the same exact way. Maybe minor changes, but I doubt that because of the butterfly effect. then it comes time around for you to be born, you are born, same parents, family, and everything, same place, time. You live your life the same, and since so much time has passed(even though its an instant to your soul) there are only vague memories left, which come across as random de ja vus, or dreams. And this cycle has been going on for a long time maybe, or this could be just the 2nd or 3rd time around. But it keeps on. If you wanna get deeper with this maybe when you die, your soul goes to like a spirit world, a waiting place for you to be born into yourself again. I dont know I came up with this after watching the matrix reloaded. I think its cool what do you think, and should I make a thread aboud this?
I experence Deja Vu moments on a regular basis. I don't know if I've dreamed them, as I very rarely remember my dreams. They happen most certainally at random, but are powerfull when I experience them. The last one I had was last Thursday, I was sitting in a Physiology class when I had that creeping feeling I'd seen it all before. When I have them, I remember entire conversations, exact positions of people, what I wear, everything. I remembered an entire segment of the class before the feeling finally dispersed. I just tend to ride them out and wait for them to end. They aren't unpleasant, just....uneasing. I have a theory that they are hereditary, as my mum used to experience them alot at my age too.
I used to have very strong DeJa Vu's but to the point where I would know I was just about to, and so I started to lose that feeling u get. So in other words I'd predict it was about to happen in the seconds beforehand and so stopped myself from having them althogether! Just recently, after about 3-4 years, I've had two though. So I'm happy to say that I'm DeJa Vuing again! peace August xx
I think it's spelled "deja vous." Hold on, I'll try using my computer translator thingy... deja vu: already considering. deja vous: already you. Well at least we know it's not "deja voo" lol
