I think he was pissed at Nixon. He was Hoover's number 1 and was in line for the directorship. Nixon put in one of his buddies instead. Felt had the goods on Nixon et.al. and figured why the hell not. I sure don't think it was out of moral/ethical outrage over what had been done. After all, he was Hoover's number 1. How moral/ethical could he have been?

I think its funny that the guy's name is "felt". he had a porno name! lol..... if only they put two and two together back in the 70s, a guy taking a famous porno name of the time..... hmm. anyways, I dont know why they are all leaking it out now?? I guess all of nixons men are dead and gone by now, and who would knock off a 91 year old man?? some people might think it was dispictable what he did.... but I mean, he couldnt go through the attorney general because the whole damn thing was corrupt. still, I think his motives for ratting out nixon was rather silly..... I mean, he did it out of spite, because he was pissed he was looked over by nixon. anyways..... I dont know, I wouldnt call him either..... I think he was important, got tricky dick out of the white house.

 

I just read pages on it in the papers - it's like a walk down memory lane. But mainly he never came out (and he was the one who finally came out with it) because he felt guilty about it all these years.
