did anyone else go? what did you think about it? i went two weeks ago in philadelphia. first i attended the marijuana march, then i went to the parking lot and planned on hanging out at the shakedown all night (i don't get paid enough to buy $100 tickets!). some cool cat came up to my friend and i and gave us two tickets 45 minutes before the show was over and said 'go have some fun' so we went in, and we were in the 6th row. it was a great experience and i thought it was an awesome show, very good. what did everyone else think?!
i went to the 2nd philly show...i was in section 306a...kinda high up but i really liked the seats...the show was incredible, took two hits of acid and smoked a bunch during the show. was a great time
yeah i was at the second philly show too.. in section 2 something idk what i did with the ticket =\ i'm surprised you got good acid, there was a lot of a bunk stuff going around both days i heard.. i was tryin to get some but my animal instinct told me not to so i got some mushies
i went to the hartford 4/26 concert. the set list wasn't the greatest but they play well and it was a lot of fun. the lot was quite an experience
yeah, we were talking to some guy selling molly and brownies and he was telling us that their was a lot of people just selling paper saying it was acid but he told us that a bunch of his friends would have brown wicker baskets selling brownies would have acid or would have molly buy would direct us to one of their friends selling acid lol. ended up getting some ladys last 5 hits, i took two and my friend took 2 and sold 1 to our security guard friend would love to see the dead again, it was a lot more bluesy with warren playing and singing but i liked it a lot. wish i could afford going to rothbury to see them
it was a very good experience, i loved the lights! && lucky you got that cid, there were people straight up ripping pieces of paper up and selling them, stupid ass kids bought them when they look... exactly like ripped paper.
I went to the Worcester Saturday show. It wasn't one of the best on the tour, but it had a lot of good music. My main problem was the rude behavior of the audience. Many of them were talking loudly and on their cell phones during the music. I had to tell a large group near me to keep it down. I've never run into this before and my first show was in 1973. Why did they even bother to come?
oh i would have hated that... when i received the tickets where my seats were the people i was around were lovely, dancing around and enjoying the musik... i would have been very angry if that happened to me. that's why woodstock will never be woodstock again... people on their cell phones, people not caring about the peace just selling fake drugs to get some money, so much anger and animosity... it sucks
their certianly wasnt any problems with people being jerks around me...my whole section was non stop dancing and smoking. the couple next to me passed me a jay and when i passed it back we both just looked at eachother and laughed cause we didnt notice that we didnt know eachother haha. i think the only time my section wasnt dancing was during the set break and then during the drums/space where we were all just relaxed in the chairs
how were the shows? i always wanted to see them live. i just saw bob at two concerts here in germany. but i wanna see them all together ah you're lucky are there maybe rumors of an europe tour?
There were about 20 shows. They varied in quality, but they played over 100 different tunes very intensely. One show that I think is super super is Madison Sq Garden 4/25/09. Get that one, and others.
from what ive heard the shows were getting better and better and by half way through the tour they hit got real good and just kept that going the rest of the tour. i was at the 2nd philly show and it was amazing and i really liked the set list. if you go on the archive you can find most if not all the shows from this tour streaming and very good quality
yeah, i dont know if you were in there for the drums/space part but if i took my glasses off from where i was sitting, everyone would blur together and their was a bunch of cell phone lights and such in the crowd it really gave me the feeling of being in space...it was awesome haha
I went to the second chicago show. It was a great experience for me. I thought warren was doing a great job and seemed like he felt really comfortable up there.. Was just great, good set list and everything. The parking lot was a trip also.. The arena we were at was right next to a shopping plaza, literally 30 yards away. The closest store was a target, so we (along with many others) parked at target for free and walked to the show.. There was the most tie-dye shirts i think target has ever seen and everyone was walking into target with open cups of beer and stuff. It was so funny because the employees were just staring at everyone. Good time!
Lot kid! Kidding, Yeah J311Mann, first time on lot and/or walking through festival grounds can be a bit of a shock! BTW: Not saying it was your first time on lot J311Mann, just saying in general.
