i've had dreams in which i've died. when i come to think about it, it's probably signifying something important. whatever it is, your dream is you attempting to make a connection to you... and in this case, it's gone to the extremes. for me, it was fear. dreams aren't always as literal as you think - and even sometimes, they mean nothing at all. but, if you piece the puzzle pieces together right, sometime you will find an answer to one of your lifelong questions. hey, just be open to it. you never know what it'll bring you.
