Do you like Dave Brubeck and what is your favorite album, and what song is your favorite?


My favorite album, but ironically my favorite song is Audrey.

 

He's ok.

All I've heard is Time Out.

 

yeah, Time Out and Time Further Out are the only ones I've listened to all the way through. I dig them..he's pretty cool. I prefer Paul Desmond without him. Have you heard Paul Desmond's live version of Take Five with his quartet with Ed Bickert? I's very cool, and goes into a harmonic minor/Klezmer scale exotic flavored psychedelic jam. I love it.

Anyone have "Jazz at the college of the Pacific", with the Dave Brubeck Quartet? Laura is probably my favourite Brubeck song.

 

I like "Audrey" simply because it sounds like what Audrey Hepburn is....graceful, elegant, sensual

I like "The Real Ambassador" because they are rockin it with Satchmo'

And "Take Five" because that song just embodies COOLNESS
I imagine myself sitting in a smokey lounge, martini in hand, and groovin to that tune
Its just COOL....there's no other word for it

well i definitely have a favorite song by the man known as dave brubeck is out of nowhere. check it out and be enthralled by true splender.
