a few times in my life i have actually realized i am in a dream, and am able to control anything in my world just by thinking it. a few times when that has happend i have tryed to say i was in a dream, but nothing would come out when i got to the word dream. i would say, "this is all a", and instead of dream coming out everything would just fade to black. and id have to stop myself before the dream ended. another time everytime i tryed to say dream a sound would cover it up like in a cartoon or something. but there was one time where i said dream, and this giant devil like thing came up and told me i had disturbed the rules of the dream world. he put me in this world, where i was trapped with these aimlessly walking people. somehow i knew if i convinced them all that they were all in a dream that i would be saved. so i ran around convincing, and it worked, the devil had admitted defeat. he set everything back to normal. ever since that day my dream world has been a more peaceful place.

Wow, that's definitely a good dream.

I remember having dreams like that as a child, where my own actions would defeat evil, or cause myself or others to escape some horrible place.

We don't always get to play the role of the hero in real life. We're so used to never doing anything like that. When we accomplish it in our dreams, it's definitely special.

congrats, being able to control what happens in your dreams is called lucid dreaming, quite common and can be alot of fun.

Look up lucid dreaming and read up on some signs/ways to lucidate yourself during dreaming. It seems you have hit a subconsious roadblock by the word dream. There are many other ways to validate your lucidity besides saying a phrase like that, and rather then trying to overcome the block that starts you losin concentration, itd be easier to find better ways. hopefully you understood what i meant.

i looked up lucid dreaming and am very intrigued by it. i have had a bundle of them when i was little, some where i actually realized i could change my dream and would do so. i haven't had any lucid dreams in a very long time though. this website said i could better learn how to have lucid dreams, and with practice i could better learn to control them. i have great control of my psychedelic trips, so maybe using some of the same techniques will help me in the dream world.

also ever since that dream with the devil i have been able to say the word "dream" in my dreams with no consequences.

a good way to have constant lucid dreams is to let yourself go slightly mad. when your not sure if your waking life is real or not, you'll naturally be more comfortable with the realization that your dream world is as lifelike, if not moreso, than the reality you've been tricked into believing is the more real one(your waking life).
