Cypress Hill - What's your opinion 'bout them?

What do you think 'bout Cypress Hill? Do you think they're crap? I personally like their stuff, its like hip-hop 'lite' or something, with a latin touch...

What do you think of their last album (till death do us part)?

 

i loved black sunday but i know so many people who do lol

 

I used to like them back when i didnt really like the hip hop sound. black sunday and temples of boom are pretty good albums. I like their production work, the stoned out sound gives it kind of a trip hop feel.

 

I like black sunday too, and I just got their last album, which in my opinion is quite nice... What do you think 'bout it though?

 

I dig most of their stuff. I like them more than i like most hip hop.

 

I like their songs, the beats are cool, and lyrically they are pretty good.

 

I don't like them, but I do have a funny story about them. I was at this music festival; it was supposed to have all kinds of different music (electronic, rock, rap, etc.) But there wasn't a big turn out for the festival so my friend and I got really close to the stage for every show. So, we were like, "aw...what the hell...we'll see Cypress Hill." So before their show we go walking towards the back of the stage and saw Cypress Hill's tour bus. And there was a fenced off path for the guys to walk through to the stage. People were standing all on the outsides of the fences. And when they walked through everyone was passing them joints and they took a hit off each one and passed it back. And there were like 5 cops right there and they didn't do a thing. It was craziness.

 

I think their new stuff, like skulls and bones was just a way of trying to get more populariity from the metal crowd, whihc they had already had to begin with. I dotn enjoy their new stuff at all really. though i havent heard the new album.

 

All I like of them are their album covers which are rather creative, musicly, they do not fit my taste. I like some hip-hop beats, but certanly not them, the whole "latin" thing ruins it for me.

 

I like it, more than most hip hop anyway... Their last album its more black-suday-ish than previous ones, and I think its a better album than skull 'n bones...

 

I like's 'em. Hey, Style, CKY rocks so fuckin harshly.

 

I'm blaming them for making me start smoking weed. It's all their fault.

 

haha yeah i wouldnt be suprised. before i started smoking i listened to them too. its what made them so "universal" i guess.

 

hahaha, I don't smoke that good stuff, but I don't have a problem with the dudes that do it, except if they're f'd up in the head... and besides, a lot of my friends always say I look like a pothead... go figure.

I wouldnt call myself a pothead. I smoke for certain reasons, not exactly for fun.

 

yeah... I know it can happen, but I just don't do it 'cause I've got a younger bro and I don't want to know what he would say if I do... so I'm abstaining myself.
