I've been having cramps and weird tensing of my abdomen muscles... Anyone else ever experience this during their pregnancy?
Yup. Either you need to drink some more water....which is always a good thing. Or, more likely, your uterus is practicing. Very common, known as false-labor. It's not really anything to be alarmed about unless you have more than 6 contractions in an hour.
I thought maybe it was the water thing too but I drink water even in the middle of the night... I will ask the doc tomorrow. I think that my body is just getting ready for her to come. I've been leaking colostrum for more then a month now!
KC that second site was helpful. I called my midwife and she said if it is at the top of my uterus and I have more then 4 in an hour she wants me to go to the hospital.... And she wants me to go if my cramps don't discontinue with the use of Tylenol.
Well, I went to the doctor today and my fundal height was at 32 weeks... She told me if it is like this in another two weeks she wants me to go get an ultrasound.

Nope, not yet. I go next Tuesday. I am getting close... and nervous. We are putting the crib together this weekend. The house is clean... thanks to my mom for that one. Every night I go to bed wondering when its gonna happen...

I'm ready! I am also ready for this to be over and ready to be a mommy! I can't wait to meet her and just love her and start the new phase of our lives. I think I am just nervous about giving birth.... and when I will go into labor.... if John will be home or if I will have to call him home from work... but mostly I am just ready. I haven't been feeling all that well... kinda weird I wonder if it means anything. How do you like being a mommy? I am so jealous. Kai is so beautiful and looks so healthy.
yeah i had such a rough time with first trimester morning sickness and they say it does come back in the third trimester to. UGH! good luck swetheart! I'm not too far bhind ya!
