The only thing they have in common with marijuana is the preferred method of ingestion.
And the fact that they're all illegal.

The first time I smoked crack I had the most wonderful high. And I spent like $1,000 or more over the next 2 years tring to get there again. Never did and neither will you.
It's the closest thing ever to something that's instantly addictive.
I finally stopped smoking that shit when a friend stopped by and asked for a glass of water.
Instead of drinking it, he took a $10 rock out of his pocket and "washed" off the rock.
Seems that on the way over he thought the cops were gonna pull him over so he swallowed the rock.
When he got to my house he made himself vomit, then picked through his vomit in the gutter to get that $10 rock.
So ket that be a lesson to anyone thing of smoking crack. You could end up like that guy.

-I tried PCP once way back in the 70's. I hated it. My cousin on the other hand loved it. I never tried it again but Ronnie did and over the next few years I watched as he ruined his life (had a good job, wife, new car, buying a house--all gone) and ultimately his mind.

-I've never done meth but I've seen plenty of people who have and still do. There's dozens of them in my immediate area. And not one of them have a steady job. And every one of them is a criminal in other ways--mainly stealing anything that isn't tied down or locked up. They live in shacks and tiny trailers and have little more than the clothes on their backs.

    -Add: Pills
There's lots of different kinds of pills people take to get stoned.
Some of these can kill you dead if you take too many.
    Many are addictive.

My advice--stick to marijuana and occasionally shrooms. Beer if you must.
But remember this about alcohol--it too is a deadly addictive drug.
Dozens of people die every week in the U.S. simply by drinking too much too fast.
Unfortunately, alcohol is so ingrained in our culture, and so cheap and so easily available that it's very hard to keep people from trying it.
And 20% of those who do will develop problems from it.
Fights, lost jobs, broken relationships, jail. Some will drive drunk and kill themselves and others.
I'm not anti-alcohol. Ganja knows I love being drunk around a campfire. At home though a 6-pack lasts me a week.
On the other hand a life-long fried of mine, RDog, has a severe alcohol problem.
He gets obnoxious and combative when he's drunk, and is prone to going into rages when coming down off a drunk. Also, when drunk he's prone to take other drugs that he would normally avoid when sober. Like crack, like meth. Very few people will have anything to do with him anymore, myself included.

Alcohol is a vicious drug. I have another friend, TBoy, who was shot as a teenager by his alcoholic father (who later literally drank himself to death) and who's mother was killed by a drunk driver.
You would think he would have learned from these 2 examples.
Nope. He's had a lifelong drinking problem. In fact, the day after his mom died, him and some friends got drunk and went driving around.
The breweries came up with a slogun "know when to say when", knowing full well that one of the first effects of alcohol intoxication is to take away the ability to know when to say when.

    Sorry about the rant.

    crack kills
i had a freind who was in the movie SLACKERS who went on to become a crack addict
he stole everything his wife owned to support his habbit
he had a huge coin collection he sold so he could pay his bills & fix his wifes car so she could get to work..he saved 1 coin..an extremely rare 1 from 1 ad that was printed to commemorate the birth of mohamed he saved that so his son would have something to start his life from when he was older
well the 50,000 he got from the coins was smoked that day..without paying 1 bill or fixin the car
he then sold that last coin for 30,000 far less then it was worth probably
    and he smoked that too
he was found naked inthe basement smoking crack lying in a pile of porn mags

his wife left the next day

pcp- 1 of my ex's worked in a mental ward, shed see ppl brought in on pcp all the time..1 time she came into a room to find the guy whacked out of his mind on pcp..he'd plucked out his own eyeball & was sitting there eatting it
i've heard of people actualy cutting theyre face off on that shit..others peeling all the skin off theyre legs..or doing self amputations

i dont kn ow much about meth except through freinds whos familues were totaly fucked up by it

i'll say it again...weed is all you neeed

but yea i agree, weed, a bit of drink and ocassional shroom/acid trips is all that a happy stoner needs.

Yea crack, meth, pcp, pills all of it is shit I never want to touch. Weed is great obviously and alcohol...I mean I do know it's addictive and dangerous and should try to be avoided but damn...sometimes, I just NEED to get drunk. Being 16 I'm obviously not an alcoholic or anything but I love to binge drink on Friday and Saturday nights. I've never drank on a school night or during the day. The only times I drink during the school year is late at night on fridays and saturdays and I drink no matter who I'm with or if I'm by myself. It's getting kind of weird ha.

I stick to weed. Not even pain killers... I sometimes enjoy a sixer of Budweiser on the weekend... but not too often.

pain killers can be killers too

look, i'm someone whos broken my back..& i'm almmost always in pain..i refuse to ever even take an asperin

occassional pain killers can lead to severe habbits..& can be deadly too

as for being 16 & odviosly not an alcaholic..maybe your not but the statements a foolish 1..i know 15 year olds who are hard core alcaholics..had been alchy sinc4e they were 13..drinkin heavily from 8...
if u have any alcaholismm in your family at all..u should never drink
    the riskis too great

i drank heavily when i was a teen..but thank god every day i havent had 1 full beer in 20+ years
alcahol ids a stupid drug that only makes u stupider

When I said "Not even pain killers," I meant I wouldn't even take those. Sure sometimes I'll take a Tylenol but that's just a few times a year.

My dad had alcoholism problems about 9 years ago for about a year, but he quit (but later went on to coke, pain killers, etc)
But I know that I'm responsible enough to not be dragged into alcohol abuse, because I know it's a very addictive and dangerous drug

wasnt talkin bout u with the painkillers imeant that for slangshot

& yea thats sorta the trend with addictions ..swapping 1 addiction for another, unless u treat the addictive part of yourself
then u stop 1 addiction but take up another

Yeah it seems that way, but his problems with the larger stuff didn't happen until 8 years after he quit... he's probably smoked pot all his life... because I know he got busted for possession of several trash bags of it when he was about 19 and he also got busted with it right before he died.

well most likelythere were other addictions inthe 8 years that may not have been as noticable as addictions
smoking, coffee sex.. hell ppl even get addicted to like football or porn or adrenilin rushes
ofcourse thohe may have been addiction free if hed gotten the treatment for addiction..but then backslided 8years later
i just meant that most often when ppl try to quite an addiction without help they usualy just substitite 1 addiction for another

I disagree entirely. Alcohol is perfectly fine if you know how to use it.

I don't see why you've this hatred, anything can be dangerous in the hands of fuckheads who don't have a level control over what they do, whether it's liquor, weed or whatever.

Myself and most of my friends drink, and we do so responsibly so to see such idiotic generalizations of the act of consuming alcohol is disheartening, though humourous as well.

Also, saying that alcohol leads to "harder things" is no different than saying that weed does.. or watching porn...

what does drinking do for you? makes you act stupid
sure the effects are less if u drink less, but the ultimate effect of alcahol is stupidity
so my statement stands & is truth
ya may not show alotta stupidityif u only drink small emunts now & then
but u cant argue withthe fact that drinkimng a larger ammount would turnyou into an idiot

ofcourse at the time your too stupid (drunk) to realize how dumb your acting..youthink of it as just fun

untill someone dies or your liver fails

"I just NEED to get drunk."
"I drink no matter who I'm with or if I'm by myself."

Amigo, you have a drinking problem.

Drinking responsibly is just as fucking great as smoking responsibly, and the only thing that can top either of them is combining it.
