Those training classes generally consist of AED training as well (no not the association of eating disorders) but Automated External Defibrillator training I assume that’s part of the curriculum? Hotwater
yea, it would have been if the facility had a AED on site hahah....we'll be getting trained in that soon though, since the camp site does have a AED on site
it was my first time being certified...my parents said it was normal....my sister whose a full time lifeguard said it was normal, even when she just got recertified she had all day classes we had plenty of breaks and whatnot...it wasn't just all "class"
I think the first one I took was a bit longer...Navy style, 45 minutes then a 15 minute smoke break, but even then it wasnt more than 2.5 hours actual time. I bet you will be better qualified than I am. Remind me to choke next to you as opposed to my AT co-workers.
just let me know if you are breathing or not while you are choking...just say, i can't breath or i can breath....
no...i don't understand the universal sign of choking... you must speak and tell me that you are choking
I got my first aid cirtificate at school a few weeks ago. We used those 'anne' dolls for the cpr bit. Blegh! Hated it when they cleaned the mouth with too much disinfectant and my hair kept getting in my way so I was swearing heaps. It was alot of fun, pretty cruizy.
