Couch Surfing.

Someone (Deviate perhaps) posted a thread a couple days ago about starting a place for travelers to rest for a couple days, as a global community.

I said something pithy, and I also meant to post this link,

I make no promises that you won't end up with somone crazy how may wear your panties as he sings showtunes. Or Fitzy.

For 6 months of this year, I was living (very well) without a permanent residence. If I had known about that site at the time, I'd have probably used it.

I've had a couple of people stay at my house in Honduras through Couch-Surfing.

 

I have had four couch surfers: US, Germany, Netherlands and Canada.

I would like to surf on some couches now!!!

 

it sounds really fun to me. I might have to try it out somtime
