i waqs tripping the other day and i was looking at a bunch of art and shit. everything looked so cool. but what looked especially cool to me was painting by oldddd artists long gone. they really knew theyre shit back then about colors because when i looked at a picasso print everything was popping out and moving and going crazy. it was really sweet. if i ever get the chance to goto the louvre in france and see all these painting. ill prolly take a buncha acid and go.

i don't know man, music for me while tripping is practically religion. Nothing else compares. Though sometimes it is just fun to walk around being absolutely retarded with a few friends.

I don't really get bored as long as the visuals are up to par though, just watching that is enough

It always suprises me, some of the art in the 1800-1940's is actualy quite trippy, wheras lots of modern art thats made to be trippy- just dosent seem trippy to me at all.

ye, music is your tool to explore. It manifest so much concentration. The maddest visuals have always taken place while listening to the maddest music, or just music - either or will do. but what really floats my boat - is the fusion of all the senses into one experience. So experiencing the music, emotion, thought and perception all into one visual panoramic journey. Thats when shit really starts to get interesting. When you manipulate the being of space around you. Where everything is anything, and anything everything. While still concurring with the coincidence of everything been nothing. There is no perception of depth or reality, what you see is your canvas to create. When you "come to" after those trips, you can't recognise the feeling of your hands touching your face - all your sensors are scrambled - which is usually followed by 3 hrs of rebooting yourself, which starts to present itself rather ominously after you been up for 30hrs and consumed copious amounts of drugs. tough times - you must be chock full of grit to come out of those experiences with a steady head. man…....i wana trip.

Nicely said PlacidPete. Isn't that a beautiful feeling when you touch. I call it "in between feeling" cause you know you touched yourself but it feels like it someone else's hand, body. It must be all together, sound, visual, your mind... and those trips are showing you a lot. Rebooting can be even longer. Its not really that hard it's the only proper way. You don't need to be awake for 30 hrs and consume so much drugs. Combinations of LSD with something are best to leed you to that. And I still belive its the state of your mind.
And if your not ready for it I doubt it will happen to you more than once.
Anyway look at Alex Gray paintings if you like to look at something while tripping at
    www.alexgrey.com
My favourite is Vision Crystal but they are all beautiful

you explain it with ease, its an intriguing experience. the satirical scepticism at the end was more referring to the setting of the trip at that time and its effect on my ability to fathom re-reality - lots o people off nuts. hmm, im prettty sure im ready for it..?again..? anyhow, alexgray is really cool.

No, I didn't mean you are not ready. According to what I read from you, you are very ready. But who is not ready for it after the first time a big amount of fear will arise and they will never want to do it again.
