hey guys i was thinking about cooking with mj sometime soon and plan to use the microwave. i plan to do it at night because i live with my parents. i was wondering if the microwave will smell? thats a big worry for me and enough of a reason not to eat it. help appreciated! Peace Baker
If your worried about the smell, just microwave something like popcorn or butter after you cook the weed and it will mask the smell
Foo... ...That shit smells hella when you cook it up over the burners in butter... Don't do that shiat in cooking class or anything... ~Buzzed (And almost spinny...)
Yes, if you cook it in butter it will make the entire house smell. I remember the first time I made brownies with ganja... made an entire apartment smell deliciously green (and the brownies came out magical indeed) If you want to cook ganja, cook it somewhere safer than your house.
at the same time, i cooked the weed inside some penut butter crackers in the oven and there was no smell at all. so its a gamble, really
im interested in how you do that, was it like crackers from scratch or did you put the weed in the peanut butter then on a cracker and cooked it? also, for how long and at what temp?
well if you make the canabutter at home you shouldnt have much of a problem; at least not anything popcorn cant hide. But baking it at home sounds risky. Ive never tried it but ive heard it makes a realy strong odor that lingers for a while. Find a friend whose parents are out of town or something.
I've made special brownies a few times, but only when the parental units were not around. From my experiences, if you keep the windows in your kitchen open, as well as other ones within the immediate area, while you are cooking and for about an hour afterwards, you should be all set. The smell is quite strong, however, if you take the necessary precautions, it will not linger. Good luck.
Has anybody ever made hash brownies? I'd like to try it sometime, but I'm not sure how much hash is necessary, and if one would need to obtain the same ingredients and follow the same cooking guidelines, when making regular pot brownies.
