Contaminated Bud! Please Read This!

Man this has pissed me off, I dont know whether anyone read my "hard ash" thread? Anyway i know why it was doing that now! Gangs have been spraying the plants with embalming fluid! Thats right the shit they spray on dead bodies. Apparently theres tons of this bud thats just been ruined! So if you buy any weed and the ash wont drop off your spliff on its own, STOP SMOKING IT.
Also ive heard (This may not apply to anyone outside the UK), due to the amount of factories being busted, your bud isnt coming from the UK anymore. Dutch gangsters are adding ground glass and silica (the stuff in the white packets in new shoes) for extra weight. If you get any bud which has a strange amount of crystals on it check them. If its the contaminated product the crystals will scratch CD's (check on a blank one).
I just thought people needed to know this, especially younger uses of marijuana who may have less experience.

Yeah, this is all over Ireland too. It sucks; people are getting their throats cut up and everything, too. I heard it was getting to the rest of Europe too, so I'd say eventually it'll be everywhere.

 

Check yor stuff properly before you smoke it. Do the CD test if you suspect glass/silica.

The weed that has embalming fluid sprayed on will NEVER dry out and may feel a little greasy. Burn a little bit, it will struggle to turn into ash even over a gas hob, and when rubbed for a little while in between your fingers it will go like a black boot polish.
Never smoke this. I smoked one joint of the greasy shit and my chest hurt. BAD!

Thats it. the weed when burned and rubbed will turn the colour and texture of black boot polish.

Growing your own is probably the best way to go!

 

Ive just had another bag dropped off and guess what? Its greasy as fuck! Im just gonna stop buying it now. When i pay £20 a bag i expect good stuff, not somthing thats gonna seriously kill me!

The UK health waring was issued in January 07. This has been a problem since the start of 02.

Also there isnt a warning out there about the oil/embalming fluid problem yet.

 

saw a thread exactly like this one when i first started coming to the forums/smoking and it scared the fuck out of me but since then ive gotten to know 9/10 of the local dealers/growers and know where to go for what stuff and since i live in a backwoods middle of nowhere town ppl just grow instead of buying out of town shit so chances are slim but i still watch my bud closely thanks for bringin it up again tho cuz the ppl need the headsup

While this has been going on for ages i've only once got bud that had the silica in. I rubbed it and it didnt feel right and the crystals wern't squishy they were hard so i binned it.
I was pissed off, but apart from that its never happened to me since.
